Hyggelig lit hotell med fantastisk service!
Hadde fem flotte dager på marmara. Kjempebra aircondition!Flott takterasse hvor vi koste oss med nydelig frokost.Utrolig hyggelige og service-innstilte ansatte. Fikk avbestilt to netter da vi ankom,selv om det ifølge hotels.com bestillingen var for sent.Fikk rabattert shuttel-service giennom marmara,selv om vi hadde skiftet hotell. Smilende,hyggelige ansatte.Gode senger!Reisebyrå som samarbeider med gjestehuset.Booket tur til Cappadocia,anbefales!Eneste ulempen var busstur på tolv timer uten do på bussen,men man kan ta fly(pristillegg utenom)i stedet.Vil ikke anbefale folk å sende personlige kortopplysninger via post til reisebyrået,da jeg ble utsatt for kortsvindel etter dette - skaff en trygg og sikker betalingsmåte!Men,alt i alt-et trivelig,personlig og praktisk gjestehus!Nær blå moske og hagia sophia,en halvtimes tid å gå til grand baazar fra marmara.Mange tyrkiske restauranter,kiosker og røyke.kafeer like rundt hjørnet!!

Beautiful stay at the property, considering it’s situated in old city, property is well managed. Staff was awesome and super helpful, rooms are little bit small but the rooftop patio and breakfast makes up for it. Would definitely recommend.

Wonderful small hotel! Super clean facilities, helpful staff, great breakfast each morning with plentiful options. Bed was more comfortable than I expected. Only an 8-10 minute walk to Topkapi, Hagia Sofia and all nearby.

We had a great 7 night stay at this clean and convenient guesthouse. The breakfast is even more amazing than it looks in the photos and the terrace was a perfect place for an afternoon break with a bottle of wine. Highly recommend!

The guesthouse was very central to major sites in old Istanbul. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was varied for all diets and the dining area had a beautiful view of the Bosporus. We very much enjoyed our stay.

An absolutely lovely stay, the staff is super friendly, helpful, and gave very apt recommendations. The breakfast, both food and dining area are breathtaking, it was one of the best parts of my day. The area was quiet during January, and seemed very safe. Quick walk away from all the best old city Istanbul has to offer. Already planning to stay with them next time in in the city! N.b. Since it is a tourist centered area, we did have some trouble locating cheaper street food within a 10 min radius.

We loved our stay at Marmara Guesthouse. The property is very clean and is conveniently located. Everything is at walking distance. The morning breakfast is really good. Ahmad and the hotel staff were really helpful with any questions we had. Would recommend this place to anyone. No complaints about this place.

The staff needs a basic Hospitality training session. That needs to teach them from welcoming guests and making their life easier.The room's dont give you even free drinking water! The drinks in the mini fridge are over priced! The stairs are very tight and with very low ceiling and if you are above 5.8' you will hit your head!! Funny enough no staff will warmn you.

Marmara is far better than adequate. The room we had was spacious and the bathroom was great. It is a five minute walk from the center of the action, but far enough away to feel peaceful. The breakfast is magnificent!

The staff and 24 hour front desk personnel are amazingly helpful and friendly… extremely clean and comfortable room and nice breakfast with a view at the rooftop terrace! Definitely excellent value for money! 5-15 minutes walk to the major attractions of Istanbul!

Great place to stay. Amazing breakfast and gorgeous views of the Bosphorus from the breakfast area. It's in the main tourist area, so plenty of hawkers to avoid. Ask staff for good places for dinner. They were helpful and estimated best time to leave for airport for early morning flight and got a taxi at needed time. I'd definitely go again!

First time in Istanbul
Very helpful staff, always available. We had the room on top floor with "sea view" and it was wonderful. Its on a quieter side street but still close to all the top sights in Sultanamet.

Cute little hotel
Beautiful breakfast on the rooftop terrace. Easy walking distance to Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Grand Bazaar and Topkapi Palace. The staff was friendly, helpful, and always available. The bed was very comfortable but small room. We loved it.

Amazing hotel, 100%. Recommend it.
The hotel is fantastic, located very near the blue mosque and other important historic sites. It has two fantastic roof terraces one enclosed where you have breakfast and one where you can sit outside and have an amazing view of the Bosphorous and dolphins playing in the water every morning. You really can’t ask for more. The breakfast is great and the staff are very attentive. The rooms are lovely and I would thoroughly recommend this hotel to anybody. My only criticism which isn’t related to the hotel is it the street behind the hotel is full of restaurants where people hassle you a lot and a number of people try to rip us off so beware.

We loved our stay at Marmara! It was super close to all the Old City attractions but off on a small, quieter side street. Although our room was small, the terrace was a nice place to hang out/relax, and the staff was extremely kind and helpful. The breakfast spread every morning was great, too!

Staff were so helpful, helped me book last minute tours and gave good suggestions. Very clean and in a excellent location in a quiet area of the old town, so easy to walk to the major attractions. Has a safe in the room and housekeeping daily. Breakfast is buffet style, typical sweets/cold salads. Has tea/coffee on terrace in evening. Terrace view of Bosphorous is lovely. Let them arrange airport transfers for you - it really is a good time/price value.

Great Place To Stay in Istanbul
This guesthouse is very close to the Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque and Topkapi Palace etc. The staff are friendly and very helpful. The breakfast is wonderful and we enjoyed the views from the Terrace which is the dining room. There are a lot of stairs but the room was comfortable and we thoroughly recommend this guesthouse.
