This is not a 5* hotel, far from it. It is ok as a 3* (perhaps), but lacks a lot for being in a higher category. Pool area is filled with fungus, should be renovated ASAP. Certain staff members are quite rude. Cleaning (and what is in the room after cleaning) is arbitrary...

Dårlig hotell/ Bra plassering
Bestilte drosje til flyplass i resepsjon til 10:00. De hadde glemt å bestille og drosja kom 11:00. De er så useriøse. Jeg hadde barnevogn og de hadde ikke inngang eller heis for barnevogn måtte bære hele tiden. Men plassering var veldig veldig bra. De tok ekstra penger for en natt og lovet å sende tilbake dagen etter men har ikke fått ennå

Veldig dårlig opplevelse! Først fikk vi feil rom som resepsjon ikke ville bytte. Dagen etter fikk vi byttet rommet. Ting i rommet bare falt pga dårlig tilstand, lekkasje i dusjen. Internet var av og på heledagen, de fikset det etter flere klager.

Not 5 star hotel
Not bad hotel, but more like a 3 star then a 5 star. the cleaner folded up used towels from the floor and put them back on the rack, talked to the guest relations manager about it and he said "sorry" When I randomly met him later he offered a 50% massage discount. I think that what the cleaner did was very bad.

Hotel is located in a nice area. Restaurants and shops nearby. The chaos of Grand Bazaar is 10 minutes walk away.

Spesiell, men meget fin resepsjon.
Kun for opphold til videre reise dagen etter.Resepsjon og andre oppholdsrom var svært hyggelige, men selve rommet vi ble tildelt var veldig lite, spesielt badet. Kunne ikke være 2 personer der.Service var god.

Fint hotell nær severdigheter
Hotellet er sentralt plassert. Gangavstand til de store severdighetene i området. Riktignok 10-15 minutter til Hagia Sofia og Basilika Cisternen m.m, men med så mye å se på underveis så spiller det liten rolle. Grand Bazar er bare 5 minutter unna. Stort og romslig hotell. Rent og pent. Frokosten kunne vært ennå bedre. Litt lite utvalg i forhold til forventninger, men ikke på noen måte dårlig. Og betjeningen på hele hotellet var serviceminded

Flott hotell
Vi bodde på dette hotellet i 7 netter. Hotellet er lokalisert i gamlebyen nærme de fleste turistattraksjoner. 2 minutter å gå til trikken og 10 min til nærmeste metrostasjon Aksaray. Rommet var romslig og pent. Når vi ankom ble vi møtt av hotellpersonalet som viste oss rundt og ga informasjon om fasilitene på hotellet og attraksjoner generelt. Rommet er med minibar til ganske høye priser. Servicen generelt er upåklagelig og personalet er utrolig hyggelige og behjelpelige. Frokost buffeen hadde et enormt utvalg til enhver smak, dog kunne den nok oppgraderes et hakk iforhold til kvalitet på enkelte varer. ( kakene var tørre, youghurten sur osv.) men det blir bare flisespikkeri. Du kan få kokken til å lage mat til deg på bestilling hvis man ønsker det. prisen på frokosten var ganske høy så den falt ikke helt til forventningene. Hotellet har egen spa avdeling, samt fitness rom. Spa avdelingen besto av et lite svømmebasseng,hamam og sauna. Felles avdeling for menn og kvinner, var kun menn som brukte fasilitene når jeg var her og saunaen var på ca 3 kvadratmeter så litt "kleint".. Savnet et boblebad. Fitness rommet var lite men ok, helt basic med tredemølle,manualer og slikt. Alt i alt ett flott hotell med utrolig bra service! Eneste minus er at frokosten er litt kjedelig, samt det manglet penger i lommeboken etter vi var nede og spiste frokost.. Ikke store beløpet men pass på å låse alt inne i safen før du forlater rommet.

The location is great. The hotel is old and beaten down but it's clean and lively. Its in the heart of a busy area so if you stay on the 1st floor the noise from the street will be a part of your stay. It's not too bad though actually adds a nice vibe to the stay. I had a problem checking in on time becasue the roads were closed by protests that day and the hotel couldn't really offer anything to help like moving my booking to the next day or refund my booking so I can book somewhere I can get to. Anyway it worked out that I managed to get to to hotel late that night. The moral of the story if there are road closures due to protests in Istanbul take that seriously and plan to be in other areas before you get locked down.

The hotel is no more than 3.5-4 star. The front staff could be more friendly and accommodating, not bad mouthing guest with co-workers. Very noisy due to being next to the train station and shopping centre. Breakfast is overpriced. The only hotel in Istanbul asked to leave deposit even though i paid for the room in advance. Fitness centre has no privacy, it's next to the reception and glass wall.

Very close to the Old City, within minutes by the tram that departs right in front of the hotel. Room is a bit old but clean and well taken care of. Spa facilities were great too.

I booked a premium room with a king bed, however upon check in they gave me a room with two small beds. I had to go back to the reception to ask for a room that matched to what I booked. Even though it was 3:00 pm, I had to wait for 10 minutes for them to assign me a new room. This was very disappointing. Everything else was good.

Die Unterkunft war im Allgemeinen relativ gut und hatte die Erwartungen zu einem gewissen Umfang auch erfüllt. Schlecht war nur, dass der in der Beschreibung erläuterte Pool geschlossen war (Renovierung o. ä.) und so die Entscheidung vielleicht auf ein anderes Hotel gefallen wäre. Das Personal war hingegen sehr nett, was den Aufenthalt ein bisschen erleichtert hat. Abschließend lässt sich also sagen, dass das Hotel die grundsätzlichen Erwartungen mit Einschränkungen erfüllt, welche aber nicht auf dem Niveau eines 5 Sterne Hotels zu scheinen seien. LG

Very nice walkable location to shopping and restaurants. Easy access to trolly and Metro. Beautiful interior but could use some updates in flooring-Carpet. A bit noisy but that is part of being in the center of Old Town. Large Breakfast Buffet and great staff.. Felt very safe..

We stayed for 5 days, the hotel, cleanliness and convenient location really made our stay enjoyable. However due to the cold weather this time of year we chose this hotel because of the indoor swimming pool. We were disappointed to find the pool was out of order for our stay even though it was advertised.
