«A home away from home♥️ Had a lovely 2Nights stay at Grange Bank House. It was the perfect guest house. From the moment we walked in the door we felt at home. The hosts Pete and Warren was so welcoming, lovely and funny. Our room was super comfortable, clean and tidy. And had all the details we like, waterboiler, fridge and tea-cakes etc. Perfect breakfast - with a lot of choices. Also walking distance to the beach, restaurants and attractions like Shanklin Cine. «The property is a period house and the owner Chris has kept it to that style, very clean with a excellent breakfast cooked to perfection by Chris with a wide and varied choice of food. Whitwell is a designated dark sky area with some very pretty houses lots of thatched roofs,the local pub is only a few minutes walk and well worth a visit,the food is excellent. I would definitely recommend a stay at Kingsmede ,it fulfilled all my wife and I hopes»

«We loved our stay. We were in the Fat Badger room in the garden. It is a tranquil oasis. The owners are so kind and can’t do enough to help. Breakfast is delicious with lots of local produce. One of the nicest places I have stayed in a very long while. »

«Overall ticks all the boxes . In some need of updating , decor , furniture . Mattress too soft for me , a topper or new one would be ideal. Parking was fine. An altercation with the owner and a guest at 1.30 am on my second night didn’t help my sleep . Whilst my room was next door to the entrance , and in all probability not the fault of the owner , regardless , there are other guests in the accommodation to consider. Overall decent for the price . »
