«Enjoyed the spacious living area; however, the house definitely needs care and could be cleaner. If you are not a fan of SPIDERS this house may not be for you! A good sweep down of webs and even exterminator would be beneficial. But I hate spiders!! Ack!!Location is a plus and kitchen is very nice. Washer/dryer on-site and an abundance of towels, also a plus. Perhaps a winter visit but due to spiders inside and out we would not stay spring through fall. Beautiful scenery though!»

«We booked this home in North Hero for a familly gathering and we all were very impressed with all it had to offer. Being directly on the lake we had everything we were looking for. The large interior space is comfortable and well appointed. The outside area with a boat dock, campfire area, and screened in porch allowed us to enjoy the perfect August Vermont weather. The fishing is also very good right off the dock. »

Mallets bay is somewhat sheltered from the main lake so the waves were smaller when the wind picked up. Plenty of rooms and beds for a family of 4 couples and 3 grand kids and dog friendly. When we pulled up it’s a barn attached to a house and you have to walk up two flights of stairs to get to the “apartment” it’s a barn so lots of black flies upstairs so we didn’t use the beds.
