«Bodde 4 netter på Mermaid i forbindelse med påsketur til Ipswich. Ankom byen med tog og gikk fra stasjonen opp til hotellet, ca. 20 min å gå. Veldig koselig hotell! Innsjekk i resepsjonen i puben, men rommene er i eget bygg 50 meter bortenfor. Utmerket pub, bar og lounge med godt utvalg i mat og drikke. Veldig trivelig familie-spisested med mulighet for å se sport på storskjermer. Rommet (dobbeltrom) var stort og helt greit med bad med badekar! Det var noe trafikkstøy fra veien rett utenfor, men ...

«Great place to stay if you’re off to the races, 15mins by car or Taxi. The pub does not provide a breakfast but their evening meals are good, and the staff are friendly. The rooms are at the back of the pub and have ensuite bathrooms, tea, coffee and water bottles in the mini fridge. The linen and towels were all fresh and the bed very comfortable. »
