Oppussing....
Hotellet var under oppussing, det hadde man sikkert "glemt" å opplyse om i teksten. Klokken åtte våknet man til ett overdøvende bråk. Heis virket heller ikke, måtte dele heis med ryddepersonale med sine traller, støvsugere og mopper.

Thank you for the feedback regarding your stay. Unfortunately i understand the service lift is not ideal but we are lucky to have that option instead of making people walk up the stairs to 3rd floor. Im truly sorry for all the disturbances from the refurbishment work, we have notes on all our booking websites.

All the staff were fantastic, and made us feel like they would do anything to make this a perfect stay. Only slight negative to say, is that while food was great, it was not exceptional.

vi var fire jenter på tur . Alle var fornøyde med hotellet og servicen. Et pluss at det er kort vei til spisesteder, fotballbanen og sentrum

Perfect stay!
Everything was rock solid, from where I could park my car, check-in staff, room 419, cleanliness, breakfast alternatives, and most important everyone from staff was helpful and polite! Keep up your good work!

Flott hotell nær sentrum og Portman Road. Gratis WiFi, store og gode rom. Hadde ikkje bestilt frokost, men det var kort veg til frokostrestauranter med billig tradisjonell frokost.

Godt engelsk hotell
Helt ok hotell, kort vei til sentrum og enda kortere vei til Portman Road. Ligger også nært en restaurantkompleks og det store kinokomplekset Cineworld. Skal du overnatte i Ipswich er dette stedet å bo.

On arrival, we were given the wrong room. This was rectified however the room we were given had a terribly strong unpleasant smell. It came from the drainage. The hotel staff spray air freshener but this only masked the smell for a short anount of time. We were offered complimentary breakfast for our inconvenience. The size of our room was great and the staff did the best they could but overall the stay was very underwhelming. I will add that the staff at breakfast were particularly welcoming.

Disappointing
The hotel is tired with dirty carpets. The customer service at check in, reception and the bar were not very good. No expected added extras such as shower caps, water etc in the room. Stayed at Novotel in Leeds and it was lovely.

Quiet and comfortable stay. Great sized room and clean. The staff were pleasant and helpful. A lovely little surprise in the room as being selected as 'guest of the week'!

Would eat/drink here but not sleep.
Staff were lovely, the lobby was warm and welcoming and the bar/restaurant were very comfortable. In regards to the room - the main shower head was very obviously in need of replacing or at least cleaning and there was a noise coming from above us that sounded like a washing machine which started in the evening and ended in the morning, I only slept a few hours because it kept me up. I tried Novotel because I fancied a change from our usual hotel choice but I don't think I'll go here again.

Feels like quite a standard business type hotel. The room was quite large and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I paid for breakfast which was ok, but not good value and I think a better breakfast can be found at a nearby cafe. Walkable to the centre of town and from the train station makes the location fairly convenient.

Overnight stay for night out.
Nice hotel, very clean and modern. Nice bar area, friendly and helpful staff. Room was good, queen sized bed. Had separate toilet and bathroom which was useful. Overall a great experience.
