«We had a great stay at Rokeby Manor. The staff was excellent and friendly. The food was great, and we had dinner here both nights we stayed here. Really charming rooms and the bed was very comfortable. A great boutique hotel. It was the best out of the three hotels we stayed at in Scotland and by far the cheapest one. However, this was the one we loved the most and would love to visit again. Perfect location for exploring the Highlands. »

«When I booked to stay here I didn't know what I was actually booking since I only needed a room for one night and this was the only option close to the Fort William train station that was left. WOW! I was blown away by it!!! The rooms were amazing! The dinning area and dinner was wonderful. I've already decided that when it comes time for my honeymoon this will be place I want it at.»

«Minimal but beautifully decorated and large room with great view. Continental breakfast included which we greatly appreciated. Easy check in and checkout process. They even thought of earplugs if you need it. One of my stays in Scotland so far. Truly felt like home away from home.»

«The lodge was very clean and charming. We felt at home right away. We were not missing anything that we needed. Communication was easy and quick. We would be happy to book there again. I suppose the only downside is that it is right off the highway, so cars and lorries are regularly passing by. This does take away from the peace of the lake on the other side of the highway. But this negative point is eclipsed by all the positive aspects. Highly recommended!»

«A very cosy house right in the heart of Fort Augustus. The living room was lovely with the fireplace, though we forgot to ask for more firewood and it got a bit cold at night. It was very peaceful—I think we were the only guests! The room is small if you're travelling with luggage, but very comfortable and warm. The bathroom was perfectly adequate. Breakfast was basic but decent.»
