«The heater in our room did not work so it was always too cool. The bed was situated right beside the heater so the air was not able to circulate properly and it would shut down after a few minutes. The breakfast was adequate but the eggs, potatoes and meat were often cold or barely warm. »

«This was my second time staying at The Latch Inn. It has a lovely setting by the marina. The rooms are very majestic. The staff is very polite and oh so helpful. The breakfast dining room is lovely and the food was perfect. The only thing I would comment on is that there was a slight smell of gas coming from the fireplace in the dining hall which my husband reported to the staff and another guest also reported the smell that had been coming from their fireplace in their suite. «A lovely B&B close to everything in Sidney. A purpose built B&B, with very quiet and comfortable rooms. A continental breakfast is delivered to your room, as often guests are heading to the ferry or airport. Worked perfectly for us. Room was very comfortable with our own heat control, fireplace, jetted tub and shower, and comfortable bed and linens. Great safe parking in the back of the inn. Highly recommend. »

«Everything about this hotel was fabulous! It’s brand new so when we entered the lobby there was still that new construction smell. When we were checking in, they were having issues with their computer and offered us water & snacks while we waited for the computer issue to be resolved. We booked a king bed with sofa bed and got upgraded to 2 queen beds. There was a full kitchen with dishwasher, stove, full size fridge and pots & pans, cutlery, dishes, etc. The bathroom had full size shampoo, ...
