«We had a lovely stay at A Bed of Roses. A big snowstorm came through but we were cozy and enjoyed the premises when we were snowed in. Our room had everything we needed for a pleasant stay and the common area was nice too. When the roads cleared up we enjoyed going up to Yosemite. »

«I haven't stopped talking about this place and Bill and Karen, the most amazing hosts and people I've met, since we left. Every part of the Robin's Nest, inside and out, was so beautifully detailed and so well taken care of. I absolutely LOVE the room we chose (the carousel), with the sunroof that opens and let my husband and I listen to the rain all night 🥰, SO romantic and just what we needed. The oversized bathtub was an amazing! Giving their breakfast and kindness 5 stars isn't enough ...

«What a beautiful cozy comfortable room! The breakfast was wonderful too! The bed was amazing, and the Sugar Pine room was perfect- beautiful wood paneling and decor. It was a dream room. The lodge is historical and wonderfully maintained! Close to skiing at China peak! Great stay❤️»

«The place is really simple, but it was comfortable, quiet, and I had everything I needed. The floors could have been swept a little more, and maybe an ice machine would have been helpful. I was there 3 days and didn't see an employee once; however, they had everything covered up front, and I really didn't need anyone! Amazing! I would stay here again!»
