The upkeep on the property is mediocre at best. It began with the pool being out of service, which you won’t know until check in, but you can ever so kindly walk across the parking lot in 30 degree weather to the sister property to use their very cloudy and poorly maintained pool. Fair warning, the manager may be yelling at someone in the lobby for everyone to hear.
Next is the room. Calcium deposits cake the faucets and your sheets threaten to turn you into Pikachu with all of the static. The wallpaper is beginning to peel in the bathroom because there is no ventilation in sight. But what really took the cake was the smoke alarm low battery beep that began at 3:00am. When alerting the front desk the next morning at 7:00am, the guest next door notes that it was happening yesterday and he alerted to it. Which means after notification, either action wasn’t taken or the wrong action was taken. Not a good look for safety, but also confirmation that we will not be staying at this property again.
