«Nice kitchen and bed. Did not like the shower and bathroom sink! Very old style shower which was difficult to use and the sink had very little space to lay morning items out to prepare for the day. Location was charming!»

«My family and I stayed here recently for about a week. The cabin was very roomy, had great views and was picturesque overall. Good proximity to the places we've wanted to see but felt isolated enough (which is what we were looking for). Our boys were stoked that they had poker chips and Catan to play. Would definitely stay there again.»

«Well situated between Anchorage and Seward but quite far of everything. But it was what we wanted. Beautiful house with all the commoditiy inside walking distance fir historic Hope. There’s a convenience store really close to help but do the grocery in Anchorage. A lot of things to do : trek, animal’s conservatory, scenic road, state park, salmon river close to the house. We really enjoy our staying over there. Special thanks to the house manager Tom who has been fantastic for us. I recommend ...

«Loved, loved, loved the cabin. Beautiful view and was equipped for all of our needs. The location is quiet and provides easy access to the Chugach State Park's interpretive center. Close to Eagle River and Anchorage which came in handy for attending UAA graduation ceremonies. The moose sighting was a bonus!»

«My wife bright our family here to stay while we hosted our daughter’s wedding in Girdwood. Great spot and property. The only reason I have 4 stars on cleanliness is that I am 6’7” and see some things that most people don’t. I’d stay there again and recommend to anyone.»

«This cabin was amazing! From the location to the decor. We chose it because of how close it is to Alyeska. It did not disappoint. It was the perfect rustic mountain log cabin feel with more than enough amenities. From the 2 soaking jet tubs to the game meat store next door. Theres peacocks that roam the property, even in winter were a pleasant surprise. It's secluded with a view. The host was very responsive and able to help us with a couple special requests. 11/10, would recommend! »

The property hadn’t been cared for in some of the details and in keeping up with things such as shoveling the stairway entry from snow and ice, no mattress cover on our bed and some lack of cleaning, organization and amenities in the kitchen. But it has a lot of potential and we still had a beautiful time together.»

«The room had just been cleaned when we checked in. The chemicals were very strong smelling and my husband had a difficult time breathing due to the smells. The bathroom fan is obnoxiously loud and it turns on automatically with the bathroom light. There were not any screens on the windows. We had the windows open all night to let the smells out and all sorts of bugs got in. The view was beautiful. »
