«The room was a good size and comfortable. We are there in the evening. Food was cooked well.
We enquired what time breakfast was and where we ate. We were told between 9-11am downstairs in bar restaurant. We went downstairs at 9-15 am only to find the place deserted!! Absolutely no one to be found. Apparently our breakfast was a bunch of bananas, some apples, cereal bar and a pot if granola in a small fridge left on the landing. No milk!!
On Expedia it stated breakfast was included with photos ...

«Window in room broken with a hole in the pane of glass. Shower poor. Wallpaper falling off. Reported tv not working. Staff just shrugged and said nothing they could do. Shower looks like it’s recently been leaking and not repaired properly. Paint all over the carpets. Food was mediocre. Bar person was friendly and good at her job.»

«The pub was amazing, the rooms were in an outbuilding. There was quite a lot of noise overnight from a pump or compressor in the basement. Also the room had no wardrobe or place to hang clothes up or even a chair to put your clothes on overnight.
To balance out, the bedding was high quality, bed comfy and the bathroom had a large shower and looked very new. Good breakfast.»

«One word - avoid. What ypu see in the description and in reviews is NOT what you get.
The room was facing the main road and the constant, non-stop noise was unbearable.
The breakfast was horrible. £12.50 extra for 1x burnt bacon, uncooked hash brown and a pathetic looking uncooked sausage. Plus a fried egg complete with a hair. The 'chef' needs sone training on how to actually cook food properly. Poor quality, cheap orange juice and bread that hadnt been fresh for a few days.
