![Hussain Sagar is a heart shaped lake in Hyderabad built by Ibrahim Quli Qutub Shah in 1563, during the rule of Ibrahim Quli Qutub Shah. It is spread across an area of 5.7 square kilometers and is fed by River Musi. A large monolithic statue of the Gautama Buddha, erected in 1992, stands on Gibraltar Rock in the middle of the lake. It also separates Hyderabad from its twin city Secunderabad.[1] The maximum depth of the lake is 32 feet

Never going back
We stayed here for 5 nights, just after one I was considering to move to another hotel, but gave it a chance. We booked a double with king size bed, got two twins. Towels was stained and moist and so was the glasses, cups and bedsheets. We asked for new and they delivered. But every day we had to ask for clean towels. The rooms are dark, and not inviting. Food was ok, and the swimming pool and spa was real nice. Was missing somewhere to sit out in the sun since the pool was inside. The TV and Wifi signals was often out and after every powercut we had to reset the tv. Wifi was also very slow. I would not recommend anyone to stay here, its not worth the price and you will find much nicer places elsewhere in Hyderabad.
