It may seem like a small thing but very comfy chairs for dining. We appreciated sitting outside all the time for all meals including during downpours. You can sit overlooking the river, but we chose to sit across the street in the comfy chairs.»

Without doubt, this has been the best stop of our trip and I hope Mountain House will let us come back in the future! We had dinner at Mountain House one evening and it was excellent - real home cooked food. Free use of the bikes was great and Ms Ai organised a cave tour and a moped for us.
