«Ashdowns is a very comfortable B&B in scenic surroundings in Dover. Gary is an excellent host and goes out of his way to make you feel at home during your stay. Our room was immaculate and very comfortable, and lots of nice extra touches are provided. Breakfast was excellent.»

« Michael & Diane who live on the outskirts of Hobart are very welcoming and can provide many accessories to make your stay even better. There is enough in their well stocked fridge to make a picnic to take with you and they can provide cold picnic boxes, flasks and rugs to sit on to enjoy an open air feast while you tour Tasmania. They offer many books & pamphlets about what to see. The suite is light and airy with a beautiful bathroom and walk in wardrobe. The linen and towels are good ...

«Lovely rural b&b by the Huon. Spacious rooms and generous shared spaces. We were lucky to have the place to ourselves for our one night stay, so had the run of the place including a bbq and full kitchen. Nice breakfast fixings with some ideas to take home. Host very friendly and helpful.»

«Fantastic breakfast, service and location right by Platypus Walk. A great place to stay but our rooms was hot and small with thin walls so we heard snoring from next door all night.»

«Dog friendly, and great location. However you may need to be aware that the access to main living space is up 14 wooden stairs. We had to teach our to go up and down, slowly. I would imagine some older people having difficulty with this too.»
