«Lily pad could be wonderful. Its setting is beautiful. I was really looking forward to staying. However the lodge is damp and the heating is wholly inadequate, the macerator in the shower room had leaked under the laminate floor and was still leaking on my arrival.The property was a health hazard. It stank and the noise of the macerator and vent was horribly noisy. Paymán expected me to stay let a handyman try and fixit.he was due to get to me in an hour. I had arrived at 5:40 at 6:50they ...

«We booked for a special occasion and the cottage was perfectly located to walk to our venue - Ely Cathedral. The cottage was lovely and clean with everything we needed. My only regret is that the weather prevented us from seeing the cottage in the warm sunshine. The owners were wonderfully helpful when we had a little hiccup with the hot water - coming over to help despite it being a Friday night. Thank you to them. «I didn't receive any instructions for self check in until I called the letting agent. The property is dark and dingy. It smelled damp and was cluttered with unnecessary furniture (large sofa foot stool, 4 armchairs, 4chairs, fridge freezer & non working fridge, for a double room). The decor is very worn with signs of damage. The carpets are stained. The external area was very overgrown with weeds. The TV remote didn't work and there was no TV ariel connected. «Our third time in this cosy cottage. As before, everything was perfect. The cottage is comfortable with a big garden, very well equipped and located conveniently close to a train station (Dullingham) for visits to Cambridge etc. We also enjoyed a dinner in the local pub, The Bull, and long walks in the area. People here are really friendly and welcoming. A big Thank You to Robbie for being such a great host! We enjoyed our stay a lot, and will be back.»

«We stayed for just under 3 weeks and had a lovely stay. A really charming and cute little cottage, hidden away behind the main street in Kimbolton. Though the kitchen is very compact, the air fryer and induction stove meant we could make some meals, and everything else about the cottage is cozy and welcoming. The hosts are great, and Rebecca was always very swift to respond to any questions or requests. Highly recommended.»
