WHAT A NIGHTMARE!!! DON'T STAY HERE!!!
We are a family of 6. 5 adults and one 7 year old child with disabilities. It was a family reunion we had planned for 6 months.
We arrived on a Saturday afternoon at 1:30 pm. They did a precheck registration on us.
All the front desk staff seem confused and disoriented and clueless when we approached them later on around check in time for our room status.
Finally, after much deliberation by front desk employees, our room was assigned to us.
We carted all our luggage and groceries for our two week stay to our unit. Mind you, there is no elevator at this resort. (Dont know how this commercial building code was not enforced). You have to tackle multiple steps up and down to reach your unit. There are no ADA ramps for handicapped guests. There are no flat luggage carts to put your suitcases on in order to roll them to your unit. There are no bellboys or girlboys or valet service.There is no parking or unloading zone for guests. So we finally reach our unit, unpack, and get settled in for our 2 week family reunion stay at Park Royal Club Cala.
We turn up the AC. After an hour or so, it is still hot in the unit. A call was made to the front desk. Resolution : "we will move you to another unit and have staff help you move there." All 5 of us adults begin the move. 3 of who are senior citizens with health issues.
We spent hours of our personal vacation time
getting resettled in the new unit. All in all, it took 4 to 6 hours to get situated.
