Perfect stay
We had a fantastic stay in a family apartment at Hideout. The location is brilliant for attractions like The Deep and the museum quarter and many lovely food options. The accommodation itself is perfect. Spotlessly clean, comfortable beds and has everything you need. My son adored the window seat! Thank you.

Great apartment in central Old Town, Hull
Great location in the Old Town next to Hull Minster. Great apartment for one or two people. Super-eco equipped. We really enjoyed our brief visit.

Lovely new apartment, amazing value and check in and out were easy. The staff gave us an extended checkout without charge which was a nice touch. The only minor issue was the church bells every hour but we were even provided ear plugs to help with this - if you are staying in Hull this place should be high on the list -will defintley stay again

Amazing room and location
Me and my wife had a night away to see jack Whitehall at the bonus arena. This room was located very close to the arena and the city centre. We found the room to be to an amazing standard, we were both very impressed. The room is very close to the centre but we did not experience any noises that kept us awake. Plenty of cheap parking close by which was convenient. The room would be perfect for an extended stay due to the cooking facilities in the room. Free netflix on the TV is a bonus and even a sofa and dining table. We will 100% be returning again when we can

Great nights stay!
I have stayed a few times at the Hideout and think its beautiful! The decor and little touches are amazing and the bathrooms are stunning. The bells from the church cant be helped and infact adds to the experiance. I would and will be staying here again. Thankyou x

Great apartment and location
Everything was excellent, the apartment itself and the location. Only slight issue was that a shower mat would be useful in the shower as we were a bit worried about slipping, but that was it! We would definitely stay there again and recommend it to friends and family.

This is my second stay at this property and it won’t be the last. The rooms are amazing value for money. They are to an amazingly high standard, beautifully clean and there are some lovely little touches. Already booked my next stay!

Mr B's suprise 60th
This stay was a secret, as we had a suprise 60th birthday party at Nanouk , ( around the corner) booked for the evening. For my hubby. I checked in just before 2pm, and was pleasantly suprised by the size of the building, how lovely and clean it was too. Arriving to our room, again lovely and clean, very well styled, with every thing that is needed for a overnights stay. Or even longer. Towels, pillows & matress were all extremely comfortable , loved the view of the minster too. The bells do ring and you can hear them, but honestly it it wasnt a issue for us. Thank you Hideout for a very pleasant stay. Hull has some very beautiful and interesting places to visit. Nanouk was a realy stunning bar with food and cocktails galour. We found the experience of booking and the emails, very easy indeed. Hope to see you again.

An excellent apartment - superb layout, fittings to a very high standard and very well organised for check in etc. The location is perfect, and there has clearly been a lot of thought gone into the design/layout/facilities etc.

Amazing stay
Car park was easy to find, however it states to park in a hideout car park space but there was none marked with hideout. So I did just park in any spot. The walk to the hotel was easy, just straight down the road. Once arriving at the hotel, the first thing I noticed was the radio playing. It was actually nice to walk into a room and just feel at home by one little thing. I loved the room I was given, it was spacious and laid out very nicely. Loved the little touches as well such as the little bottle of milk in the fridge and the different types of coffee. No complaints from me, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable.

Lovely aparthotel. Spacious and clean. Downside is the noise from the market early morning - which must be a recurrent issue as ear plugs were provided on arrival.

Great Appartment
I was very pleased with the service from Hideout. The site was quite easy to find and they communicated well in advance. This site is directly opposite the Cathedral so there is a lot of noise from the bells but it stopped around 9pm. In fairness, Hideout did suply complimentary ear plugs if i needed to use them .

Disappointing 2nd visit -dark and cold apartment
We have stayed at Hideout before in a studio apartment on the second floor which we very much enjoyed and decided to book again but in a one bedroom apartment. I wish we had stuck with the original as this was not at all an enjoyable stay. Firstly if you are going in cold weather then take a heater with you. The heating would not stay above 19 degrees and certainly couldnt feel any warmth coming from anywhere.Supposed to have underfloor heating but definitely didnt feel any . Secondly it was all so dark -the sitting / kitchen area hardly gets any light from the street as it is set back from the road with a wooden shutter type terrace plus of course the looming lovely Minster opposite blocking out any sunlight and then the bedroom has no natural light at all since there is no window. The car parking is also a bit of a trek - the public car park is much nearer and the same price. All in all very disappointed

Hi Annette, First of all let us apologise that your stay was a disappointment this time and you didn't enjoy the apartment. Here are a few things that may work to improve things if you stay with us again. In regards to the heating, we do have underfloor heating which can be cranked up to a steamy 30 degrees by using the on the wall thermostat. This does take a while to heat up however and this is why we also provide mobile plug in heaters which are stored upstairs in our guest accessible store room. (our help sheets do explain this) We also have a 24 hour helpline which we urge guests who are not enjoying their stay to utilise as we can 9 times out of 10 fix guest's problems and would advise on how to use the thermostat. On lighting- we are spoiled by how gorgeous the light is through the spring and summer months and the way our street apartments catch the bright rays, however with it being winter the sun doesn't quite reach much higher than the minster opposite and can be a bit darker in these apartments. If you do stay with us again please do request a higher room and we will do our best to give you a wonderful view. On our website we give information for several car parks and only suggest using our private car park to those who don't mind the 5 minute walk, for security and flexibility. We really hope you choose to stay with us a third time and get to enjoy some beautiful views from one of our higher apartments. Feel free to email us directly with this request.
