«We had a wonderful stay at Sierra Sacred Valley, it turned out to be the perfect choice to acclimatize to the high altitude. The staff couldn't have been friendlier, they were genuinely concerned about my altitude sickness (which wasn't that severe, but maybe I looked worse than I felt) and offered some remedies. Luis told us all about the area, a lot you wouldn't get from tourist guides, and also took us on a lovely hike up the mountain behind us. The food in the restaurant was great, ...

«The staff were super friendly and helpful. They went above and beyond to cook us with delicious vegan food. Their potato soup and guacamole were incredibly delicious! They also helped us by driving us to the Salt Mines of Maras, Moray & Ollantaytambo for a reasonable price. They had warm water and good WiFi connection which isn’t always the norm in Peru. Highly recommend if you’re in Urubamba. »

«It was a beautiful place, lovely to relax in, service was excellent, love the gardeners, love the llamas (or alpacas - unclear), lovely jacuzzi. Could fit twelve people or six alpacas in the jacuzzi and still have room to do laps. Unfort we were incredibly incapable of temperature regulation (possibly our fault). The dome became a whole greenhouse during the day and outside was somehow too cold unless you were in the jacuzzi. Also the drinking water situation was a challenge - BYOW. »

«Veldig god service fra alle ansatte. Alle går virkelig inn for å møte alle ønsker man har. Eks. Servitøren i restauranten fikk kokken til å lage en mindre posjon av grønnsaksuppen, slik at vi kunne kombinere den med en annen rett for 1 pris. :-) veldig behjelpelige med turer/transport (også til Machu Picchu). Hotellet ligger ca 30 min med bil fra Aguas Callientes (hvor toget går til Machu Picchu), men taxien koster nesten ingenting (100 sol) så det gjør ingenting at man ikke bor i Aguas ...

«We booked this hotel as it was a higher end luxury hotel and hence didn’t mind paying twice as much as the other hotels in the Sacred Valley. The gardens were beautiful and the exterior is cool, staff was friendly, nice big comfy bed and the dinner food was tasty. Drawbacks were that it didn’t really feel as nice as we expected for the price. It’s quite old (not in a charming way), the cold water suddenly cut while showering scolding me, the toilet stopped flushing (no, we didn’t clog it :p), ...
