«I booked a room for my daughter to spend with her baby on her first birthday. I was away in the UK and asked the lodge if they would be able to put roses and champagne etc. in the room. And leave a birthday message from me. Lisa provided it all and made it so special for them. And had balloons and cupcakes with candles at the breakfast table. I’m so thankful to her! «I regret booking this place, it’s very dull and needs a lot of maintenance, the wardrobe was outside our room, how in earth do you expect people to keep their clothes in the wardrobe placed on a passage where everyone has access on? There was no dustbin in our room and the toilet, I was not even told where the kitchen was, I booked for 2 people, but there was one glass, one towel for the entire 2days. We didn’t have the remote for the gate, so everytime we had to go out we had to phone because ...

«The stay was ok as the location was convenient for the function I was attending. I had to pay extra for breakfast which I dont recall from the booking. The carpets were were shabby as was the 2 seater couch. The bed linen was clean! I was given a family unit. The space was awkward to move around due to the sleeper couch and 2 seater couch.»

«Booket like før ankomst da vi trengte et overnattingssted på veien fra Johannesburg til Sani Pass. Meget bra service og de fikset kveldsmat til oss selv om vi kom sent og ikke var meldt inn til middag. Vi var veldig fornøyd med standard og service som var veldig bra etter sørafrikanske mål. (dersom du forventer en standard som tilsvarer luksushotell i en vesteuropeisk hovedstad blir du nok skuffet generelt i Sør Afrika).»

«We were there to book in at 14:00 when we could book in, our room was not ready! It was not cleaned yet and we had to get ready for a wedding!! We had to wait till 14:50 till they were done cleaning and had to be atvthe wedsing T 16:00. We had to do our make up outside in the heat and was sweating because they were busy and we could not so it in the room with the aircon on. I had to rush doing my and my daughters hair. We were not impressed at all!»

«Place was beautiful. However I am disappointed as the shower was terrible. Being Gas powered the water was ice old or extremely hot for 15 seconds. Ive reported the matter the person in charge of which I received no apology and i was told that the shower will be working perfectly the next morning. And not to my surprise it was not working. The water had sand as per the pics i will upload. The shower was ice cold and both my kids are now ill from standing in the shower waiting for hot water ...

«The location was perfect for the purpose of my trip. Staff - super friendly and extremely helpful at all times. I can't rate them high enough! Accommodation was adequate. Very dark room - needs some more lighting. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom - needs a re-vamp. Load -shedding was well managed. »
