«The hotel was packed due to multiple events happening. However, we were still able to find tables for snacks and drinks, as well as a table for breakfast. We will definitely be back. The check in and check out process was super fast and easy. Our room was clean and had lots of space. Thank you for a great night away from home. »

«Valet and check in took a few hours because they said they were fully booked the night before and they didn’t have enough staff cleaning rooms or running/parking cars. There is no where else to park if you don’t do valet, and the hotel only has a curb side. Tons of cars were backed up on the street. They do give you a welcome drink. Facilities were clean and staff friendly, the area is pretty sketchy with homeless and druggies but that’s anywhere in California these days, very close to the shops ...

«Really different location and property well kept if looking a little worn in places. Food very good. Service in the evening was excellent. Unfortunate noise coming from proximity to rail line not helpful if you are a light sleeper but bigger issue (and not the hotels fault) are the sea lions on the opposite which bark all night. The combination of a the sea lions and the trains throughout the night very unfortunate as rooms are by no way sound proof. »

«Friendly staff at check in. Beautiful property and decent room. Had trouble with the ac took much effort to get the ac to work. Every button had to be held down for 3-5 seconds. Went half the night without ac because we’re unable to change the temperature on the thermostat. Purchased breakfast but mishap in times and on mother’s day had no breakfast options at 10 am. Very disappointing. »

«We were pleasantly surprised at the gorgeous 1864 built Victorian mansion converted into a beautiful venue with all the amenities you’d expect from a hotel and some you don’t always get such as snacks in the lobby. The beds are comfy, the shower is huge and the rooms are so well insulated that we didn’t hear any hallway traffic or our neighbors. It was a short drive to the concert venue that brought us to town plus Old Sacramento and the capital grounds and dining venues. Now I’m trying to come ...
