«Rooms are quite nice. Owners are very friendly. Price is right. Decent wine and beer is available for purchase. Two issues: 1) no hair conditioner or lotion in room 2) no daily room service which not a problem but when you have a guest staying 3 nights and only provide 2 wash clothes for a couple is a problem. We strangely got 4 towels but only 2 wash clothes. A person is dirty when washing so more wash clothes would be needed as apposed to towels. »

«Sylvan Lake Lodge sits above the lake in a quiet area in Custer State Park. Our room had a good queen bed and small bathroom. There was a table and 2 chairs. The lodge had a great sitting area with alot of chairs/sofas. The dining room had excellent dinners (walleye/vegies for my husband and a steak for me). Breakfasts were also good w/ eggs, bacon/sausage and pancakes.»

«This was such a great property. We spent the days exploring the black hills and the evenings relaxing at our tent. In the mornings deer were roaming and turkeys were gobbling. The nights were cool but the heater in the tent kept it at just the right temperature inside. If you are looking for a secluded get away this is your place.»
