There are many other beautiful coastal towns within easy reach, such as Bridlington (13 miles), and children will love a day at the Deep Aquarium in the nearby city of Hull (16 miles). Walkers and cyclists will be spoilt for choice with the Wolds Way (30 miles) and the stunning Yorkshire Wolds (25 miles) to explore. There are also various stately homes and gardens, including Burton Agnes, Sledmere House, and Sewerby Hall (all within 25 miles).
