The village also has a train station with good links to all the surrounding villages for an even greater selection of walks or on to Sheffield and Manchester if you prefer to see the nearby cities. Also just a short drive to Chatsworth House and many other local attractions.

Grindleford also offers a couple of places to eat out with a local pub and hotel restuarant offering various options.
