Flott beliggenhet. 5 min gange til stranden (max), og nærliggende til det meste av hva man trenger: buss ( gode bussforbindelser rett over veien), taxi, restauranter, shopping, utesteder.

I check out at 11 and since my fly back home was in the evening.. the hotel kept my luggage and in the afternoon they let me use a courtesy room to shower and change clothes.. for one hour and free !!!

Waikiki Malia was clean and affordable. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The elevators are a pain in the @$$, though. While we appreciate the convenience of on-site parking, trying to park an SUV was challenging. Also, navigating the tight turns in the parking structure was scary. I’m so surprised we didn’t scratch the car trying to exit. It wasn’t a bad stay at the hotel, just a couple of things that made the stay less than stellar.

This is a renovated hotel. The staff is excellent and highly attentive, if it wasn’t “right,” they fixed it. Parking is a hassle - very narrow sharp turns.

I booked because it had good ratings for the price. I knew I would spend a lot of money in Hawaii so I went a bit cheaper on the hotel. Room & property was clean but outdated such as the parking situation, you pay 35$ for each night & the parking structure is VERY narrow & tight thank god we rented a sedan. You also pay an additional 20-30$ each night for amenities such as towels,wifi,gym, you can’t opt out. There is only 1 elevator that goes to parking so it takes a while & is cramped. This hotel is all ECO meaning they give you a tiny bottle of shampoo & conditioner & 1 toilet roll.

Room and staff were nice but the location is in a very crowded area of town. We arrived late evening and the crowds on the street were challenging, as was finding good food. Food prices were sky high in the area, except for the IHop next door. If you want a peaceful or quiet location, keep looking for somewhere out of Waikiki.
