unfortunately the weather caused severe disruption to our stay, with two building evacuations/fire alarms and several power outages ultimately causing us to have to move out. fortunately, our host was excellent with communication and reaching out to us to offer another available property to move into. the banyan building is older and in the midst of all amenities being remodeled. we were disappointed to learn that we not have access to any recreational amenities like pool, spa, courts and bbq’s after we were already booked and paid for.having said that, the property was very well stocked with all sorts of cookware and beach gear (towels, chairs, umbrellas, small cooler). the bed was comfortable, the lanai was nice, the window a/c and fans functioned well and the little extras like foil, spices, and plenty of paper products were very appreciated. we utilized the full kitchen including blender, toaster, coffee maker, microwave, stove and oven and had plenty of room to freeze water bottles and store leftovers in the full sized refrigerator.the furniture and pots and pans could use a deep cleaning, but overall we were very happy with the space and all the conveniences. the parking was easy and perfect for us to come and go as we pleased.
