This is not my first time staying at Pacific Monarch, but it has been some time since my last stay at this "hotel". The staff are very friendly and helpful, comfortable bed, a sliding window that spans almost the entire room brings in that warm ocean breeze, and I really like having a kitchenette that even comes with a toaster and a rice cooker! The only two minor complaints were cleanliness in the hallways and elevators, and with a full house, two elevators were working over time to accommodate all of the guests coming and going. Sometimes the wait for the elevator was close to 5 minutes and at times you had to wait for another because you couldn't squeeze in. Otherwise, I really love the location, it's close to all the hot eating spots, walkable to everywhere, and the beach is right down the street. However, I chose to lay at the pool which is on the roof and has a sauna and hot tub. I will definitely consider staying here again.
