The Neighborhood:
Ala Moana Hotel is located in the beginning of Waikiki. Waikiki stretches about 2 miles which features Ala Moana Shopping Center as the welcome area as you enter Waikiki. Across the Shopping Center and the Ala Moana Hotel is "Magic Island" of Ala Moana Beach Park, Hawaii's largest beach park and popular among the locals. Jogging paths, exotic trees, picnic tables and wonderful swimming area.

Getting Around:
Once you are settled in the Ala Moana Hotel you will find the surrounding areas are walking distances away. By foot, the Ala Moana Shopping Center is only 5-10 minutes. Across the way to the Ala Moana Beach Park also is 10 minutes away by foot. The Bus Station Hub is in and around the Shopping center and easy to get to the other parts of Waikiki by city bus called "TheBus"
