Excellent location for the beaches, dining, water sports. Bed was incredibly comfortable. The only downfall was the unit was located by the garbage shoot. Thus, there was an occasional odor that made its way into the unit. I would stay in the unit again.

This condo has excellent views of the marina and ocean. The sunset is straight out your patio door. Condo was well equipped with snorkel gear, beach towels and dishes. Location is great, plenty of restaurants, shopping and the beach is nearby. I would recommend this condo to anyone.

Great condo and location.

Love the decor and location of this condo. On the 12th floor at the far left of the building overlooking the marina. Unit is farthest away from the elevators and next to trash chute. Odors from trash chute apparent when waking in and small roaches in the kithen possibly due to its proximity. Jetted tub not working and very high to step into. Wish it had a balcony to chill on outside but the lanai was nice to see the Friday night firworks over the lagoon. Would stay again,hopefully small issues are resolved.

Our condo was great! It was clean, quiet, temperature controlled and decorated with a traditional Hawaiian feel. So grateful to have a full kitchen to cut costs on food. Conveniently within walking distance of the lagoon and ocean beaches that we visited nightly. Only a few buildings away from the Hilton, allowed us to visit their outdoor shopping village and enjoy their nighttime drone show and fireworks from our balcony. The view of the marina and ocean waves, along with the sunrise and sunset was absolutely beautiful. One of the days, the entire building was without water from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, for repairs. The owners responded to my text messages within minutes. They also gave me updates when they had them. Long-term parking pass was a bit confusing. But, the parking garage staff was helpful. Be aware that the washer and drier is community coin-operated. It is not within the unit. Overall, would recommend to anyone looking to vacation in Oahu.

Comfortable Place to Stay

This is my 3rd time staying at the Ilikai Marina. Management was quick to respond to my problems of standing water in the shower and plunger in bathroom sink was stuck in the down position during shaving. Unfortunately the maid that was called in to resolve the problem was a little gruff. She made it seem my hair was the reason to a clogged shower drain (I'm partially bald) and what idiot pushed the plunger in on the bathroom sink. Regardless, the problem was resolved. The unit does need an update/refresh, the bedspread was torn in one corner and slider to the balcony does not lock, however I don't feel anyone would enter from being on the 12th floor. Overall, the unit is comfortable and the unit is in a prime location, which is why I always choose the Ilikai Marina. The unit also has all the amenities one would want for being on vacation.

Great location and view

The condo is as pictured. The neighborhood location is great ... very walkable to beach, restaurants, shopping, etc. The view is fantastic and the location of the condo in the building is great also - very quiet end unit. All of our communications were good. The only "con" is the very deep jetted tub with shower enclosure in the bathroom desperately needs to be replaced. I think it is impossible to clean that area fully, so appears to have some mold issues. Also, it is very high to step in and out of. Another challenge for some might be the lack of a dishwasher. We don't mind handwashing, so no big deal other than the design of the sink vs counter space makes it a bit difficult. We had a great stay and would happily stay here again.

This property was awesome. Localization is 10/10, with a beautiful view of the ocean. Well-equipped kitchen, cable TV, and everything that a family would need for a holiday. The owner was super responsive and polite. I would stay here 10 times again. Garage is nextdoor to the main entry, but it's a bit tricky. It costs $28 per 24 hours, but when you enter the first time, you need to purchase a long stay ticket from a kiosk on the wall, on the left, not the one at the entry gate, which is for short stays. Just purchase for as many days as your stay, and you can exit and enter multiple times. In short, book and you will not regret it. Loved everything!

Perfect For Us

My wife and I had 17 trouble-free nights in this unit. Everything - keys, TVs, Internet, appliances, plumbing, etc. - worked just fine. Located in the quiet west end of Waikiki within easy walking distance to Ala Moana Park, Ala Moana Mall, Ala Wai Canal walking path and, in the other direction, all the shops, bars, and restaurants of Waikiki. Great sunsets, rainbows over Magic Island, surfers to watch, marina activity - its a great location.

Quiet but still close to the action

The property was perfect. Very clean and had a great view of the marina. Walking distance to shops, restaurants and the beach. An added surprise, we could clearly view the Friday night fireworks on the beach from the balcony. We would definitely book this property again. The owners were very responsive.

Great location

We enjoyed our stay. The views and sounds from the room are relaxing. I never did figure out the parking situation. I did pay $140 for a 5 day pass, and it worked once. There really is nobody that can help. The security guard seemed shocked that someone would ask him a question about the parking pay station that was just around the corner from his post. Btw, the room has a great view of the Hilton fireworks.

Great place in a great location

This is one of the best places I’ve ever stayed at. The apartment itself was great, but the view of the marina was absolutely gorgeous. Never seen so many sunsets in a row before. I wouldn’t trade it for anything.

AMAZING VIEWS!

I will recommend this unit to everyone going to Honolulu. The location is perfect. The views are amazing. It's a great home base for all your adventures on Oahu. It's located at the end of the hall, the ac worked wonderfully. It's needs some tlc, a few repairs were made at light fixture in bathroom and at an outlet in living room that need to be painted. Who cares when you can stay at a place with a full kitchen (no dishwasher but not a big deal) and oh, have I mentioned the views.... for less than the cost of a hotel. We are looking forward to coming back here again and again.

She said yes in paradise!

We had to get out of Utah for over a week for my girlfriend's best friends wedding on the beach in oahu, and, not to be overshadowed or out done, I took my girlfriend to the north shore at turtle bay and left engaged to the love of my life! This place is paradise! The condo is everything you need and would expect from a stay in paradise! It's a corner unit so the views are absolutely stunning! Our friends who were married stayed in the floor beneath us and I have to say, after seeing the other unit, this particular condo we stayed in has the island feel to it! We loved every moment we were blessed with to have stayed here and we will absolutely be booking this one again or buying or own in the building! We loved it that much! If you find yourself lucky enough to be staying in this condo you're gonna love what you find! Had every amenity we needed and if you get to eat down stairs at the chart house, you'll never think of Tuna filets the same way again! I fell in love with the island and the Ilikai condos at the marina... Can't thank the owners enough for extending their home to vacationers like my fiance and I! We will never forget the week we had here! Aloha and Mahalo yall!

My Birthday trip to Hawaii

This was a super fun trip for my 60 birthday. The property location was perfect the view was superb the owner communicated well. I gave 4 stars on cleanliness because the shower door was not very clean. But overall everything was good. If you are looking for hotel luxury this place will disappoint you. But if you are looking for a place with a view that takes your breath away! This is it! We enjoyed the place very much and the price was great. We would love to rent it again. One thing that could be easily improved by the owners would be new deep pocket sheets the sheets come off the massive mattress every night and you end up on the mattress protector. Minor annoying thing. I’m sure they’ll take care of it. I’m also a VRBO host and I always appreciate healthy easy fixes and suggestions from guest. Thank you for letting us stay.

THIS PLACE IS A GEM

My Mother, fiancé, stepson and I took our first vacation together and I could not have chose a better place- there was so much ease with the directions from the property manager, the location was perfect- next to everything you need (stores, restaurants, the beach, bars, etc.), the VIEW from the windows and the balcony was mind blowing (Sunrise and Sunset), you had everything that you needed as far as amenities in the condo as well. You truly cannot beat the price for this condo compared to the prices in or around the area. It is steal and such a beautiful place You will not regret your booking at all! Every single one of us was really happy about our decision to book this beautiful condo and we will be staying there for our next trip! We thank the property manager for such a great stay!

Great

Location is awesome, no issues with the condo except HVAC system, but I think it is related to the restaurant being downstairs in the building- there is always smell in the bathroom, didn't bother us at all, but someone might not like it. Overall the condo is great- we will come back for sure!
