«Such a friendly owner. Comfortable bed and top rated room with loads of interesting quirky things to look at. Breakfast was to order the night before at a time of your choice. Brought to your room and was of a good quality. Would stay there again. We were in the Birch room.»

«Bra beliggenhet og frokost! Fint interiør og hyggelig personale👍»

«Very tasteful selections for breakfast with an elegant presentation— history abounds in this small inn- lovely!🇨🇦»

«Very friendly owners, liked the history of the house.»

«Lovely old building, beautifully clean and comfortable. Steve and Fiona were very welcoming and kind. Also, they cooked a mean breakfast from a varied menu. It was delicious. The only downside was the lack of parking outside The Bakehouse. It proved to be very difficult but the upside was that approx 60 yards away was a Car Park for only £3.30 for 24 hours! Highly recommend The Bakehouse if you are planning a visit to East Devon.»

«We had a big beautiful room in this lovley place. Deliscious food and very friendly staff. Short walk to the beach.»

«Flott beliggenhet, rommene var som forventet, ingen luksus, men ok. Frokosten var ok. Alt i alt var det eit greit opphold.»

«Very good place with dinner and breakfast available. We paid too much via Expedia»

«Excellent breakfast, very friendly owner. Pity about the “dog-eared” property and quirky layout of separate loo, then bedroom, then shower room»

«Great location for the celebration we were attending. Lovely host really friendly. A fab stay»

«Room was well furnished and had everything we needed including a bottle opener, wine glass, even a hot water bottle! Bed was comfy and there was a really useful folder of info in the room, the owner had included a few suggested walks around the property which was great and we did one of them just to stretch our legs. Ample parking, and the property was very well kept, no issues with noise or anything from the farm we were attached to. Loved the fact the owner offered proper milk for the rooms ...

«Rommet var rent, men slitt. Personalet var hjelpsomme. Beliggenheten var rett ved strandpromenaden.»

«A reminder that you don’t get a lot for your money these days. Twin room - cheap narrow beds, very noisy plumbing system in the room and from other rooms, noisy outside, tiny shower. Included breakfast not worth mentioning.»

«Wonderful period property, all modern conveniences, comfortable beds, luxury bedding, spotlessly clean. Situated just off the high street with secure on site parking, and within walking distance of various eating establishments. Website is easy to use, and informative, covers everything you need to know about the property and local area. Jamie & Gary are fabulous hosts. Highly recommend this establishment.»
