Set in the Blackdown Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, this beautifully restored 1946 vintage Airstream offers an off-grid stay with valley views, big skies, and a wonderfully peaceful rural setting. The private pitch is purposely separated for privacy and comes with solar lighting, WiFi, and a fire pit, while bathroom facilities are located in the shared wash block on site.

Guests choose this stay for its character, its setting, and its sense of escape. It is a standout option for anyone who loves the outdoors and wants a memorable place to return to after a day on the Jurassic Coast. Music fans will also appreciate its provenance: the trailer was once owned by rock legend Roger Daltrey.

A home to relax and unwind
This is a comfortable, characterful vintage trailer stay designed for slowing down. Evenings here tend to revolve around the fire pit, star-filled skies (with intentionally low solar lighting to reduce light pollution), and the simple pleasure of being surrounded by quiet countryside. Indoors, you have a cosy seating area and everything you need for easy, unfussy meals and downtime between adventures.

Please note: because the lighting is intentionally low for stargazing, it is recommended that you bring a head torch or small camp light.

A shared sleeping arrangement that accommodates up to 6 guests across 2 beds (ideal for groups who are comfortable sharing space in a vintage trailer layout)

Outdoor and shared on-site facilities include:
Your own private area, purposely separated from other guests for privacy
Fire pit and BBQ grill, plus outdoor dining space
Shared wash block with hydro showers and eco-friendly toilets
Shared fridge/freezer facilities outside of the private plot

Location
The trailer is located at Hartridge Springs in the Blackdown Hills, a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty known for dark skies and calm countryside. You are around 15 minutes from the sea, making this a convenient base for Jurassic Coast days filled with coastal walks, beach time, and fossil hunting, before returning to the stillness of the hills.

This is a rural setting, so having a car is recommended for exploring the coast and nearby towns. Free parking is available on site.

Extra charges
Wood-fired hot tub (paid add-on): £50 for a one night stay
Wood-fired sauna (paid add-on): £40 per night for 2 hours or £60 for the whole night
Extra Bundle of Logs: £10 - A complimentary bag of logs is provided for the fire pit, sauna and hot tub if booked. Extra logs can be purchased on-site, or you can bring your own wood.
Pets: £20 per pet (maximum 2 pets)


Booking policy
Full payment is due 30 days before arrival and will be automatically charged to the card on file.
If payment fails, it must be completed within 24 hours or the booking will be cancelled.
Early payment is allowed; card fees up to 3 percent are non-refundable if cancelled.
Guests are not required to pay a damage deposit in advance. However, we reserve the right to charge up to two hundred pounds per stay to the card on file in the event of any damage.

Cancellation policy
Full refund if cancelled 30 or more days before arrival.
Fifty percent refund if cancelled fourteen to thirty days before arrival.
No refund if cancelled within fourteen days of arrival.
