Renovated in June of 2023. New cabinets, furniture, floors etc. Same million dollar view on the main river as before.

Has a Boat Dock, 2-bedroom 3 bath (1 is an outside half bath), Upgraded On River. Stilt Home. Living space located on second floor.

Our Pelican Point home is clean, quaint and comfortably decorated 2-Queen BEDROMS, 2-ADJOINING BATHS, One-Full Sleeper Sofa, a full 3rd BATHROOM DOWNSTAIRS and around 1,100 square foot living area upstairs. This home stocked with upgraded furniture and furnishings, sleeping six people.

Step outside just a few steps from the private 70-foot boat dock where Fishing and scalloping is terrific. Our property consists of a nine acre Peninsula, surrounded by the Homosassa River and Otter Creek. There is a charcoal grill for you to use and enjoy however charcoal is NOT provided. Basic linens included such as bedding, bath towels and kitchen towels. Kitchen stocked to meet basic needs with a stove, oven, microwave, traditional drip coffee maker, and dishwasher. We have everything you need to make basic meals, but do encourage professional cooks to bring their own tools should they desire to do anything complicated. Washer and dryer in the home.

We do not have a boat ramp on site, please DO NOT use Camp N Water’s boat ramp. It is reserved for their guests only and they will report you if you are caught using it. Thank you for your cooperation.

We have YouTube TV for all your live TV needs. 85 channels including ESPN, ESPN2, all regular channels, Fox News, CNN, MSNBC, TNT, Comedy Central, FS1, HGTV, ACC and SEC Network, NBCSN and more. Free wifi included.

Great location and awesome view! Bring your boat, head upstream to swim in the crystal clear spring run and see monkeys on the way or downstream to the gulf. Lots of wildlife - herons, ospreys, bald eagles, dolphins, and manatees. Several options for food - Shelly’s fish house and Crump’s were our favorites. The wildlife state park was great as well, the fishbowl is super cool old Florida.

As listed, Pelican Point does have a million dollar view, & we thoroughly enjoyed watching many species of birds in their daily activities. The location is quite quiet except for weekend evenings when nearby establishments have outdoor music. Ginger was very responsive when we had concerns, including having her husband Chris come by to help with operating the main TV when no instructions were provided. We stayed for the entire month of Feb. but recommend the unit for shorter stays only; i.e. one of the bedroom closets was unavailable for our use because it was the supply closet. The bathrooms were short on towel racks, & the kitchen was missing some items for use in simple cooking.

Our host did an A job. She had great knowledge of the area and was very helpful with our questions.Access and the view of the river was outstanding. the kayaks were great and we saw many manatees and a pod of dolphins on our two outings. We took the kayaks to manatee pub to put them into the water there and it was an easy paddle to the Ellie Schiller spring/park!We loved the unit, it was comfortable and the view from the deck and living room was great. It was also really nice being right on the river!

The house and amenities are OK. The view of the river is amazing. Pelicans, dolphin and manatee are all visible from the home. The island with birds was so cool to watch. We had an issue with the sliding door that could not be repaired due to the holiday. This meant we could not open the door and our view was obstructed by tape and plastic wrap used to hold the door together. Because the view is the best part of the listing, this was very disappointing.

Family weekend in Homosassa

We really enjoyed our scalloping weekend in Homosassa! The location of the home was excellent as there was easy access to the boat ramp, the Bay and the local bars and restaurants. It appeared as though the house hadn’t been cleaned in quite some time due to the dust on the floors and furniture as well as dead bugs around the sliders and windows. The dishwasher was also full when we arrived which was odd. The house is also sloped and very hard to get used to, at first. It may make you seasick. We also had sewage on the streets and in the driveway the entire time. The sewage company came out to clear it but the large sewage puddle remained the whole weekend and the yard is very muddy, as well. Overall, we did have a great time but would probably look to a different property in the future.

Pre 4th of July Celebration on the Water

A group of Army veterans and families had a great time on the Homosassa Springs waterway. The Vbro and the owner were very impressive and professional before and throughout the stay. Great Memories! We're already booked for next year!

Fishing shack

Perfect place for fishing trip. Guides pick u up at your dock. House needs a better screen porch. Not no see um proof. Needs a nicer grill. Enjoyed our stay. I would rent again.

Great Birding!

We picked this place because it was on the water and we were hoping to see birds. This place was great. Lots of birds, got excellent photographs of fishing osprey from the doc. Music from the local restaurant can be loud in the evening but they shut down at 10:00.

Switched to the Lodge

Less than 24 hrs before our arrival,I received a phone call from the property manager that the property we booked would not be repaired before our arrival(The owner said only minimal screen porch damage had occurred from the Aug hurricanes and it would be repaired before we arrived.) We were offered another stilted house with no view, a hotel or the next door property The Lodge, but our Christmas vacation would be cut short because they said we could only stay from the 21-26. We arrived at The Lodge, a house that was not clean(dust, bugs on the floor, dishwasher full, dryer full, sliding glass doors not able to be opened or closed,broken windows, molding coming off ,cabinet doors falling off,elevator broken, Bird poop so bad on outdoor furniture and dock it was unsanitary to use, etc…) All bedrooms (excepts a bunk room were upstairs, so we had to carry our suitcases up a wooden spiral staircase

Beautiful waterfront view

The place was very convenient to the local restaurants and marina. We wish that there was a freezer down below the house to keep our fresh catch and frozen bait. The dock is a magnet for lots of pelicans and herons. We enjoyed their company, however, they leave a terrible mess.We liked waking up and “leaning” into our day.

Fantastic!

This was our second visit to Pelican Point, and we loved it just as much this visit as the last. We spent hours sitting on the screened deck watching boat traffic flow by and watching the hundreds of birds come and go from the shore and the nearby island. Good restaurant choices nearby as well as a nice seafood market. House was clean and comfortable. We will be back!

River Fun: Manatees, Dolphins, & More!

The location is awesome and the city boat launch is nearby and easy to use. We loved that the property was half way from the Gulf and the springs, also very near all the waterfront bars/restaurants. We saw dolphins feeding from the porch and tons of manatees swimming all over the river. The house itself was nice and has everything you need. The only downside was the floor was a little slanted i.e. it felt like you were walking uphill/downhill. I would still recommend to stay there because the location was great and we spent most of the time on the water.

Great place with a great view

This place was the perfect size for 4 adults, and the view was wonderful. We took a boat and used it for fishing and going to places for drinks and eats. Our only concern was that apparently there had been a lot of rain and or flooding prior to our arrival because the bottom carport and bath had dried mud in the concrete slabs. We opted not to use the downstairs bathroom for this reason. We did not contact management and made do. Also water was standing along one side of the property that we had to drive through in the truck. Lots of water not just a little. Bulbs need replacing in living room. Overall we would return to this property. It was a great property!
