«Disappointing and Overpriced Stay The breakfast was exactly the same every day and became boring after two days, especially during a longer stay. There are no in-room breakfast facilities. Reception staff were rude, and the late check-out policy seemed inconsistent—free during my first stay, then £10 per hour later. «Very friendly and helpful host. Nice breakfast. Convenient location for accessing Southwell and the surrounding areas.»

«You know what you're going to get from a Holiday Inn, so 5 starts indicate everything I expected was delivered as well as I might have hoped. Friendly, efficient staff, a comfortable room, a very good breakfast. Location great if you want to be on the edge of things, rather than right in the middle.»

«Very nice place to stay. Helpful and friendly people and a very good breakfast. The rooms were nice and clean, the bed was comfortable. Little too warm in the room without air conditioning. But we can recommend this place. »

«Lovely proprietor. Cooked breakfast was great, a pity that on last day we couldn't have it because of staffing problem. Attractively decorated property»

«Lovely room with view of the lake, iron & ironing board, coffee machine and kettle were much appreciated. Didn’t have breakfast but it was reasonably priced. Free parking and plenty of space, felt safe.»

«Room was clean, bed was comfy, parking was easy and checking in was simple. Would happily stay again.»

«Very central, excellent breakfast and good service. Big rooms with comfy beds and pillows. Only downside was that the aircondition turned off at midnight, but we woke up in 26 degrees and turned the aircon back on. This happened both nights.»

«Very good breakfast. Bathroom had loose tiles and towels smelled moldy and moist.»

«Generelt renhold var helt OK, men det virket som at det var en god stund siden teppene var renset skikkelig. I tillegg betalte jeg for frokost og la inn merknad om at jeg har glutenallergi. Allikevel klarte de ikke å ordne gluten fritt brød til frokost. For ordens skyld legger jeg til at de hadde pakker med glutenfri granola, men det er ikke godt sammen egg og bacon…»

«Excellent hotel in the middle of the city»

«Aircondition virket ikke. Måtte bytte rom. Hjelpsom betjening. Bare en heis i drift. Fine fellesareal/bar. Bra beliggenhet i forhold til sentrum. Sikkert vært et fint hotell en gang i tiden. Nå fremstår det som litt slitent.»

«Very clean and a great place to spend a night. Good food at the restaurant, great bar and a overall cozy atmosphere. Recommend this place to other travellers. »
