Strandoasen din venter! BEACH FRONT DUPLEX på et romslig havområde i det svært etterspurte South Topsail Beach-området. Mange moderne oppgraderinger!

It was a beautiful site and so peaceful out on the beach. The home was well taken care of and had most everything we needed. We did have issues with the keypad lock when we first arrived late on a Sunday but were able to work with after hours support. Wish I could go back right now!

Perfect location near the beach. Beautiful remodel.

Beautiful remodel. Bright and inviting. Good for 2-4 people on the quiet south end. We docked our boat at the marina and enjoyed the waterway in addition to the wide, flat beach on the ocean. Well stocked with everything you need.

Description of property is misleading / reality not worth $

I will start with the pros: 1. This duplex is directly on a very nice, wide beach. You step off porch into the sand. 2. Really appreciate “pet friendly” rentals 3. Bag of ice in freezer was nice - especially since frig doesnt make ice. 4. AC worked fine Unfortunately, i have a lot more cons: 1. This is obviously a renovation done for rental. Everything was done as cheaply as possible. 2. The listing for this property is a duplicate of the listing for the other side. Based on the photos of the other side - it might be a more accurate description of that property. Definitely misleading for the north unit. Says new stainless steel appliances. In fact, appliances are the most basic (cheap) Ive ever seen in a rental. The refrigerator doesnt make ice. The dishwasher stops if you open door and has to be completely reset to run again. Definitely wouldnt plan on cooking for a crowd on the stove. 3. Kitchen is poorly supplied. Total of 4 bowls. 4. Very misleading to say this unit has 2 bathrooms. The supposed 2nd bathroom has a toilet that doesn function because you have to sit sideways to avoid bashing your face into the sink. The sink in this bathroom is completely non-functional. Smallest sink i’ve ever seen. Maybe would work for small child? Doesnt work for adults. Walk in shower is the only functional part. 4. The duplex is right on the beach but -from the porch- you can only see the ocean if you sit in corner closest to the partition that divides the porch for the 2 units. Even then - i had to stack and sit on top of 4 chairs to see. Otherwise you can only see sand dunes and sea grass because the sand dune is built up high against the porch. 5. Same is true for the inside. Listing makes it sound like you can see the beach from the front room but you can’t. Maybe with some really tall barstools??? 6. We had a terrible infestation of black flies on the porch. HUNDREDS of black flies made the porch unusable after the first night. 7. I also saw bugs in the kitchen - ants and roaches!! No sign during the day but lots of creepy crawlies scattering when i turned on kitchen light at night. 8. Nails are popping up on the porch. 9. Door to porch sticks pretty badly. 10. The only functioning bathroom is a super cheap bath fitter makeover. 11. Overall - we would not go back to this rental nor would we ever rent from the management company again anywhere. Beware!

Overall Very Nice; Great Location

This duplex was nice and clean, overall fine, in a great location at South Topsail Beach. Good view of the ocean only from the living area and partly blocked by dunes/sea oats placed there for beach replenishment. Everything worked fine. Easy to contact owner/manager. However: it’s an exaggeration to call this a “2-bathroom” unit - the second bathroom is really inadequate (TINY, with NO storage, not even a shelf, the sink installed sideways to fit, and you have to sit on the toilet at an angle to fit on it - and we’re small people). The step-in shower was fine though and the front bathroom was normal. Beds ok. Also: no mirrors in any bedroom (?). Exactly 3 wine glasses provided(?) no salt/pepper/herbs or anything, you need to bring every condiment you may want to cook with. There were 2 couples in our party, I was glad we weren’t using the 3rd bedroom so my bathroom stuff could go there. Overall nice enough place and clean, we had a great time, but expensive for this layout.

Beachfront half bungalow

Excellent location with beachfront and view right on your doorstep. Modernized with upgrades. Somewhat small Living and dining areas. Tiny second bath. Needs better lighting in 3 bedrooms. Needs hooks , mirrors in bedrooms. Very clean. Plenty of hot water, nicely stocked kitchen with pots,etc. Blender, toaster, coffee maker- bring filters.

Didn’t want to leave

The rental process was simple and effective, everything went smooth with check in and check out. This property was as advertised and was right on the beach! The beach was absolutely perfect and we hated to leave! We would definitely stay again and would be great to rent both sides for larger groups!!

Sea-Clusion North review

You just can't beat the location! this is the only property you will ever find that lets you walk directly onto the beach without climbing any steps!! Wow. And what a great beach! So flat, so wide, with no undertow even with high winds, and no crowds. Dogs allowed, too! Good biking on smaller roads. The property was very modernized, clean, and cozy. All appliances worked well, including A/C! It was great having a king-size bed for me and my wife. Showers with power and plenty of hot water!

Family Vacation

Great family vacation at this rental. The location was amazing. It is a tight space so make sure you go with people you like lol. We were lucky enough to have nice people in the other half of the duplex but I could see how annoying neighbors could affect your stay. You will see and hear them on the deck. Overall it was wonderful.

Picture Perfect

Excellent property. About 15 minutes from “town,” walkable to several restaurants abs activities. The view is amazing! Beach access was spectacular. We had a good bit of rain, so we very much enjoyed the covered porch and ocean view from the house.

Fantastic location, beautiful beach, nice house but needs some upkeep.

Our family loved this location and beach. The house was somewhat smaller than we expected but clean. The beds were comfortable. The patio door needs adjustments made. We did contact the rental company for light bulb replacements and they came two days later. No working vacuum or broom available. All in all fair stay, great location

Great view and would revisit

This is a duplex neatly placed on the sands in Top Sail, NC. The check-in/out process was by text, which was super easy.. The house was clean, recently renovated and there was a tote filled with available towels from the linen company. There were a couple things, that I hope the management team will resolve. The outside charcoal grill was not functional. Even though the bathrooms are remodeled the hallway bathroom toilet is not easily accessible - meaning the sink interferes with using the toilet in the standard way which was disappointing. However, the view from the living room/kitchen/balcony is worth going back. I like that the house is on the beach. The house is surrounded by other beach houses. The property is pet friendly and dogs just need to be leashed on the beach. A couple of mornings I had my coffee & took my chair only feet from the balcony and enjoyed the scenery while watching the sun rise. There is a laundry & dryer located in a secure room in the carport. There is an outside shower and water hose on the balcony when you come in from the beach. When you book your stay the management staff will email and send text notifications which is very helpful and informative. They even send a few countdown reminders. One thing I would recommend is to get groceries before you cross into the island so you don’t have to back track. And get at least two or three bags of ice for the freezer since the freezer doesn’t have an ice maker. I will revisit!

Beach Access

Nice contemporary renovation. Beach access is amazing. When I was there the steps to the beach were covered with sand which made it a straight walk out to the beach. My disabled mother had no problem getting to the beach.

Perfect beach front getaway

Loved our stay and family time together here on the ocean!! Perfect views and the house really had everything we needed for a relaxing week at the beach. Grill was completely rusted out and unusable. In addition, outdoor table very brittle we avoided using as it’s about to break any day now. We’re a pretty laid back crew so didn’t mind too much but might be more of a bother to someone else.

True South Topsail Gem!!

I have been vacationing at Topsail my entire life, 40+ years. This rental is by far one of my favorites!! The location is PERFECT!! The updated kitchen and bath were beautiful, its a bit on the small size but suited my needs perfectly. The fact that its oceanfront and there are literally no steps to the beach is incredible. The views are unobstructed. We will definitely be back!!

Beach front stay with disappointment

I’ll start with a positive note that the location is perfect. You can not get closer to the beach, however that is where the excitement stops. Unfortunately the unit is in despair. Water damage, black mold, and very used amenities. At first the communication with the property management company was rather poor. They did get back with us and offer to have someone topically clean the vents, that would have done nothing. The black mold was on every vent and on the bathrooms walls, the spores were already thru the ducts. Finally we were offered a small compensation after we Had to ask for it. Overall we would not stay at their unit again or with this property management company.

Beautiful view, bad living/dining room furniture

Very nice, little bathroom ok for 1 person, loved the 4 tv's, exceptional view and deck. View from living room is wonderful. Too bad furniture lacking. Sofa comfortable but mildewed and "nasty" looking. We put an unused bedspread on the sofa to cover it. Only one chair in living room, and it is unusable - VERY uncomfortable - slat in bottom of chair was broken. We stuck the chair in a bedroom and pulled an outdoor recliner in from the deck. With pillows it could be used. You could get a much more attractive dinette set from Goodwill - not talking big money here. Kitchen very nice with good appliances - you could be more generous with pans and cooking utensils. Towels and sheets were fine, beds comfortable, place seemed clean. Did not use laundry room, but neighbors in South unit seemed to have no problems. This place could be very cute AND comfortable with just a little attention. Under $100 would secure chair (or two!) for living room, and some matching dining room furniture. Sorry to say I would not come back without a chair or two in living room. I saw previous reviews that alluded to the lack of seating and was surprised and disappointed that this problem had not been addressed.

Beach Get away

We stayed on one side of the rental with family staying on the other. Terrific location on the beach. Layout was efficient and the kitchen well stocked. Delivery of groceries and rental of bikes and kayaks completed our stay-made it very simple.

Great location and nice house..

Had a great stay just had a renter beside complain of dog barking at 6pm. It's a pet friendly rental so expect dogs to bark at some point. Management company was great to work with after we had a issue of not being able to check in on time because we didnt get code for the property.

Beautiful view

This was my favorite rental that we have stayed in at Topsail. The view is unbelievable & the beach is not crowded. Very relaxing getaway. The kitchen was well stocked, linens were as expected. Could use more seating in the living room. Would definitely visit this property again.
