«I think this is my 10th stay at Motel One, and not my last. For me, mostly travelling alone it is perfect, a good bed, clean bathroom, and a very good breakfast. Love the turquoise heartshaped sweets and the dog in reception. Motel One is situated ringht in the heart of the city center, only a few minutes from everything, etc train station, metro, Theatre Royal, galleries, shopping, restaurants, bar and pubs. Highly recommanded place to stay»

«The Dock was fabulous and exactly what I was hoping to achieve for a 1 night stay between my work days. I was gutted as I’d heard so much about the breakfast but I ended up being in such a rush so didn’t have time to have a full English but the lush lady behind the kitchen counter asked me if I wanted a sandwich making to take away. She made me a huge and the best tasting bacon sarnie with a latte to take away (proper fresh brewed coffee) she saved my bacon literally haha. As I didn’t eat again ...

«The hotel has fabulous Christmas decorations that make it feel even cosier and more inviting. The staff were really friendly, professional & welcoming. The room was a good size and clean and well presented, as was the bathroom. The bar area was relaxed and had a nice atmosphere. Only one issue during the visit. The breakfast sandwiches were in stotties that seemed a bit stale. We didn’t feed this back at the time, which I now realise was unfair. Apologies.»

«Came over for the Newcastle game and had a nice stay for 3 nights..The staff was just great,arrived very late and the boss was waiting for me so i safe could check in..The location was also good,took me 25 min walk to St .James Park..i will be back here and can recomend this for everyone :)»

«The room was excellent, bed was so comfortable that we slept in on our 1st night, leaving only 1 and a half hours to get ready for a wedding we were going to. The bathroom was lovely, a large shower with rainfall head. Very deep bath that we used on 2nd day. A great menu and restaurants to choose from. The bar was so welcoming with a great whiskey selection for myself and cocktail selection my partner loved. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Our stay Matfen Hall was excellent and I ...
