Set on the porch in morning and water the sunrise, listen to the loons and other birds and keep an eye out for eagle fishing. What a pleasant time on the lake.»

«Cozy little cottage with lake view just down the street. Cottage is being updated currently. However, that didn’t affect our Holiday weekend stay. Water pressure in shower works fine. You just have to switch the button if it’s slowly coming out. Handheld shower head would be better if it was mounted to the shower wall. They have bath towels but we couldn’t find any washcloths. «This little cabin is a dream. Everything you need for a great stay to recharge. Clean and thoughtful in every way from supplies to decor. We thank our host for the memories and look forward to my my next stay (I have already booked!). The location is perfect near 23 to explore the area or even venture to Mackinaw for the day. «Quaint, rustic and updated cabin with all the necessities to enjoy time by the waters of Long Lake. Plenty of room for parking the boat trailer. Water at the dock was shallow when we visited so we loaded and unloaded at the DNR Boat Ramp 3.5 miles to the west. Lots of opportunities in nearby Alpena and Lake Huron. Communication with the owner was easy and response time was immediate. Clean and well kept! Thank you Ryan!»

First, everything we needed to know or that could have been an issue upon arrival was covered by the owner of the property long before we even left for the trip.
