«Big mistake, this facility should have been renovated 10 years ago. I do understand why they have a “ no refund on cancellation policy “ . Dirty, mould in bathroom, carpet that “sticks” to your feet, old garbage in closet from former guest. Room smelled of stale old beer. Damp bed liner and a thin chap foam mattress with no support. »

«I loved staying at The Beaches because everything was perfect, the owners were on hand to do breakfast every morning which wasn't limited to either a full English or just cereals (as in some B&B's that I've stayed in), they were happy to be of any help that you needed. I would be very happy to stay there next year when I go down again. There was nothing to hate about staying there.»

«It was great, the rooms where clean, bedding and towels spotless. Staff could not be more friendly accommodating. Breakfast was amazing, made to order and a large selection all fresh I might add. There are a few quirks around the building but this is what I was expecting from a building of this age, would I stay here again, without a doubt, next time we are in the area this will be our go-to place. «I stayed at this for a few days of peace and quiet and not sure I could find a better place. The whole establishment was clean and a nice balance between retro and modern, which made it homely but also very comfortable. I stayed in one of the top floor rooms with new Veluxes, a shower with excellent hot water and comfortable towels.
