Lastly, make sure you ask for instructions on how to run the hot water on for showering, I figured it out, but it took a while. The house is beautiful and great for families with young kids, they have a play room for kids.»

«The property is a historic residence converted for hospitality. It's lovingly restored with modern facilities comfortable for westerners while still feeling like you're in historic Japan. The owners were amazing with coordination and really friendly. Would definitely go back and would stay longer next time!»

«The villa was good, a lot of space and well equipped. Communication was completely via email, which is a bit anonymous. We didn’t have any problems, but I don’t know how it would have worked out only via email if there were one. Quite complicated to get transport for non Japanese people. »
