«This is our family's 3rd stay at peaceful acres. We highly recommend this place for a number of reason but the main reason are the host. They're very nice and have excellent communication. The location of this property is great for wanting to be at the lake or if you want to go to town to explore. It's right in the middle. Beautiful view from the back porch. «The hotel was non smoking yet I smelled marijuana in the hall. The shower had not been cleaned and had hair in it but I had no choice at 6a so I washed my feet after taking a shower. The beds are hard as a rock and would be more comfortable sleeping on the floor»

«The body wash dispenser did not work properly. The bed was comfortable it was an okay stay»

«Staff were extremely kind and positive»

«The Gage was absolutely lovely for a weekend getaway- however — it’s was MUCH further from State College than advertised on Expedia- which said 22 miles. It was actually 37 miles- much further than we planned and made the weekend including WAY more travel- including late at nite- than we anticipated We had plans in SC- and travelled 4 hours to SC.»

«The team did a great job especially the man running the breakfast area.»

Location is very good to get to a lot of good destinations and right on a highway, If I had too, I would book again,»

«We are non-smokers and purchased a non-smoking room for two nights. Upon arrival I was informed that our room was room number 103 and it was a handicap accessible room. I said fine as long as it’s non-smoking. The front front desk person assured me that it was a non-smoking room. When we entered the room, I could immediately smell smoke. The toilet seat had cigarette burn marks on it from previous guests, and undoubtedly this room had been smoked in previously and frequently. I asked for a room ...
