«Adorable modern cabin in a very secluded area on the Wine Trail. We had a great time - the hot tub was so relaxing after a day at the a wineries. Loved watching the cows and the bull at the neighboring property, and we even saw deer on Sunday morning. Will definitely book again!»

«I very much enjoyed staying at this cabin. It was clean, comfortable & close to the Shawnee National Forest & the Wine Trail. The bed & furniture were comfortable. The kitchenette allowed me to have all meals in, as it has a half-refrigerator, microwave, sink, coffeemaker, plates, glasses & mugs. «First I was surprised there was no wifi. But my daughter had wifi from her work that she brought so that worked. Couldn’t find a trash can in the kitchen. Text and called but no response. Then it was so dark in there. Not even a lightbulb in the nightstand lights. Even the bedrooms were dark. Plus there was a light over the bathroom sink. Could find a switch to make it come on. Cushions outside very worn and tattered. Other than that it was great. Nothing we couldn’t work around. Great location.»

«Great, quaint cabin, that is well maintained and tastefully appointed. Setting on the covered porch looking out over the trees and pasture made me feel like I was 1000 miles from anywhere. The hobby farm next door was really cool. There were all kinds of animals on the property, many roaming free. I even saw a skulk of foxes as I pulled into the property. A quick 8 minute drive and you were in Carbondale. Very cool.»

«We were looking for a quiet place to relax between our adventures around southern IL. This cabin was perfect. It was clean, had anything we needed (except wi-fi), the front porch, back porch and surroundings provided a peaceful place to enjoy the outdoors. «If you are looking for a beautiful cabin that is tucked away from the center of town but a quick drive to the action, look no further! I stayed here with my mom, aunt, and my 1.5 year old daughter and we had the best time! The cabin is beautifully decorated, clean, and spacious. The cabin is well-equipped so you have everything you need to relax and unwind. There is also an adorable farm next to the property. We would absolutely return here!»
