«The place was as advertised. It is a basic room off a larger house. Everything was clean but older house so a little worn. The outdoor space is rough-- but Memphis in August is too hot to really enjoy outside.Location is close to everything and if you are just in town to see the sights this is a convenient place. Bar/local chain restaurant a couple blocks away. The only thing that was odd was the choice of chairs but a Target folding chair sorted that out. »

«Cozy and warm resting place. Safe to walk the neighborhood. Accommodating to our fur babies. Marianne was a great host. Worked with us to make our stay comfortable. Definitely recommend the Hummingbird Cottage!»

«Yard unkept, weeds as tall as me. Should say it’s a duplex in the narrative because that was a surprise. Hair in bed and all over bathroom. Booked for 4 nights and left after one night.»

«The property is in a very nice historical district. The duplex is old so old original features are to be expected. It was decorated nicely and was comfortable. Water for showering was not hot and water pressure was weak in the shower. Kitchen water got hot quickly and there was good water pressure in there. Overall our stay was great (except showering) and we enjoyed the property and neighborhood. »

«We went to the Memphis Tigers football game and was able to walk to the game due to the excellent location of the house. We ate dinner at Central BBQ and it was right around the corner from the house. We met my son at Staks Pancake and it was only about 15 minutes from our rental. Excellent all around location.»
