«We had plenty of space to enjoy ourselves. The updated living space was nice. The bedrooms were more of a cabin feel - spacious but not updated. The bathrooms were updated, small but nice. I enjoyed the ease of being able to walk to town. The outdoor deck furniture needs replacing except for a few of the folding chairs.»

«Beautiful north woods cabin centrally located We toured from Minnesota to Michigan on daylong excursions Waterfalls, Beaches, Island's and Hiking We enjoyed the fire pit and gnomes along the trail to it Sat at the fire pit during the day without a fire and enjoyed the spectacular views We were two couples and the two bedroom, two bathroom layout worked great »

«Upsides: close to trails, close to gas station and great restaurant! Had shampoo and conditioner and laundry soap and q tips! Left plenty of toilet paper and had code entry so we didn’t have to worry about losing a key! Downside: no central air, had one bedroom window unit and another unit in the living room upstairs that couldn’t be moved. We had to run them on high the entire time to keep the place cool. We had 6 adults but only 3 coffee cups so only half of us could drink coffee at one time.»

Owner readily answered e-mailed questions regarding problems with internet d/t Spectrum service issues. Appreciated presence of Smoke detectors. Would add to rental description. Also appreciated charcoal grill. Easy check-in and check-out. Mild carpet odor. Expected when allows clients with dogs. »

«Beautiful little studio apartment was perfectly located in a quiet area, clean, with a very comfortable king bed. Loved drinking coffee on the front porch in the morning and at the end of the day, watching a thunderstorm light show moving in off the lake. Host was friendly and easy to communicate with. Overall a great find for a lovely last minute little getaway!»

«Erin was a wonderful host and the home and property are stunning. I wanted to find a cozy place to celebrate my grandmother’s 86th birthday. We were not disappointed! The home is so cozy and unique, with stunning views of Lake Superior and close access to the beach. Erin was wonderful! She offered local produce and meats for when we arrived and was even able to extend our stay for an additional night. This was a perfect place to spend some quality time together and am so grateful to have found ...
