It was peaceful and relaxing to sit down by the stream in the evenings followed by sitting fire side once the sun went down. We loved how close it was to some of our favorites in Chimney Rock and Lake Lure but still mostly secluded and private. Would definitely stay again in the future!»

«We feel lucky to have found this charming farm cottage. It is immaculately clean and well decorated. We enjoyed meeting the owner and learning the history of the farm. Our visits to Dupont State Forest, Pisgah National Forest, and Brevard were just a few miles away. After a busy day, it was wonderful to relax on the porch and take in the view. «We had a lovely time staying in this charming mountain cabin. Everything we needed was provided with lots of extra perks. The entire place was cozy, clean and brightly decorated. It was a joy to be in each space of the cabin. We loved sitting on the side porch, listening to the stream, and enjoyed the birds, bunnies and chipmunk that came to visit! «We spent two days at the cottage, and when we weren’t out touring the town and local shops, we were relaxing on the fantastic screened in porch. Hearing the babbling waters of the nearby creek made the time even more enjoyable. The house was well supplied and very spacious. It was also clean and comfortable - all we could ask for. If we’re ever in the area again, we’d definitely want to stay again.»

«Loved the doggies (Willard!), who greeted us upon arrival. Loved the serenity of the natural surroundings. The cottage is totally comfy and almost magical if you’re ok with a vintage vibe. Super private. The covered porch looking at the horses and mountains was like therapy (I lost my 30 yo thoroughbred the same week). «Great location as just a short drive off the highway! Cute neighborhood and great place to take our pup! Hard to find such a nice place for our stop over to Folly Beach! The yard was great for our dog to stretch her legs and everything we needed was there! We cooked dinner and just enjoyed the yard! Thanks for such an easy stay and loved the Buttercup Cottage!»
