Great place to start exploring Helsinki
We had a great visit at Hotel St. George, located in a quiet part centrally in Helsinki. The reception was very helpfull at guiding us to several good restaurants and luncheons. The hotel itself is in a very old building, but you'd be hard pressed to find anything old about the decorations or services on offer. The bedroom and bathroom were exemplary. The only negative would be the transporation arrangements to the Airport from the hotel, as the taxi did not operate on a fixed price and charged 20% more than the trip from the AIrport and to the hotel where it was a fixed price.
