«We had to be in Oxfordshire for the funeral of a very special friend and came across the Red Lion in our search for accommodation for a couple of days. Our experience was excellent - the room was fine and very comfortable and the kitchen provided excellent menus. But the main comment is how brilliant your staff were - they made our visit so much more agreeable than it might have been.»

«We stayed just the 1 night but wish we could have stayed longer. The room was clean and full of character. Had an evening meal in the restaurant which was delicious. The breakfast was also lovely with great views. In all we couldn’t fault the place and will definitely stay again when in the area.»

«Check in and check out did take a lot of time. Reserved 50 pound on my card, I try to avoid hotels that do that. On a journey I can stay on many hotels and will then end up with a lot reserved if everyone used this practise. Tried to call room service to order, but in one hour no one answered so I went out for food.»

«We had a great stay at Kilworth, I can’t fault anything . Room was very nice and all the staff were excellent in every way . The dining experience for dinner and breakfast was faultless , the quality of produce was obvious. »

«It was fine, easy to find, near the railway staion and town centre and the best fish and Chip cafe....everything was fine and the hosts were very pleasant. The room was small and a share of the shower next door was what I chose to be as economical as possible. The standard was high and service was hands on and immediate. A very pleasant three days and IT available too, which is important for my business.»
