«We enjoyed our stay. The location was central for us to use as a hub to take day trips out and back from. It was just the right size for two. The guesthouse was clean and bright and we were greeted by chickens and a rooster upon arrival.»

«This wonderful home has it all. It is centrally located to all the wonderful attractions in the South Coast. Very spacious, but warm and inviting. The gourmet kitchen was well equipped. The hot tub was very relaxing after a day of hiking. We were able to see a wonderful Northern Lights display with the wide open land around us. Would recommend and would stay here again on another trip to Iceland.»

«Wir hatten eine wundrrvolle Woche in Renates Häuschen. Das Haus ist gut eingerichtet und war sehr sauber. Renate ist eine sehr nette Vermieterin und hat uns bei Fragen geholfen. Das Beste ist allerdings die Lage des Häuschens, so eine perfekte schöne Alleinlage mit einem fantastischen Blick und dann noch ein toller Hot pot besser geht es nicht!! Ich kann es nur empfehlen!!»

«We have enjoyed staying at this cottage very much. Kept ourselves very busy exploring Iceland to the fullest during the days, comming back in the evening we felt welcomed and had everything what we needed to rest and enjoy some off time. We had perfect weather but even if we didnt we would happily just stay at the cottage enjoying ourselves. «Wir waren für 4 Tage in dieser Unterkunft. 4Erwachsene und 1Kleinkind (13Monate). Es hat alles super geklappt.Bei Fragen gab es schnell die Antwort. Die Unterkunft an sich, ist an machen stellen etwas verlebt, aber das tut dem Wohlfühlfaktor keinen Abbruch. So war es zumindest bei uns. Da die Unterkunft schon etwas klein ist,war es mit 4 Erwachsenen und 1 Kind für die 4 Tage ok.. Direkt in der Nähe kann man Höhlen besichtigen...1min Fußweg. Alles in allem waren wir sehr zufrieden.»

«We stayed at Klara’s Villa for the second half of our Iceland trip. It’s a perfect spot to enjoy the Golden Circle, Reykjanes peninsula and the south coast. «We were so fortunate to find this rental as we had planned an Iceland wedding with visitors from Norway and the US. We had a large group of 22 people, and the eight bedrooms worked perfect. The beds were very comfortable, the linens were clean, and rooms were private with very little noise transmitting through the walls. «Das Haus ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Man hat einen wundervollen Ausblick über den Fluss. Da das Wetter sehr gut war, konnten wir die großzügige Terrasse mit den zahlreichen Sitzgelegenheiten nutzen. Ein Highlight war der tolle HotPot. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden das Haus jederzeit wieder mieten.»

«A 4 day stay in a comfortable cottage about 15-10 min drive from Selfoss, 5 min drive from the Kerid volcanic crater. Cottage with all amenities except washer in a quiet area with several other similar cottages. Nearest supermarkets in Selfoss (there is one nearer by but is was closed). Having a car is a necessity though. »

«We have been guests at the Afternoon Cottages twice. We stayed in #4 the first time and #5 the second time. They are mirror images of each other. Everything was clean and the location is perfect for seeing the Aurora as long as the sky is clear. Communication with the property manager was easy and effortless and on our first stay we even extended it by a day. I highly recommend the Afternoon Cottages.»
