Fantastisk hotell
Fantastisk familiedrevet hotell med lange tradisjoner ved inngangen til gamlebyen i Heidelberg. Vi kom med bil, og hotellet hadde plasser i parkeringshus rett ved. Sannsynligvis et av de beste hotellene jeg har bodd på, kjempegode senger!

A classic hotel with great staff and facilities!
An Outstanding hotel. We were greeted at the door by a Mr. Fuchs when we arrived and he could not have been more friendly, professional and helpful! He was helpful with dining suggestions, where to go and what to see in town. A great start to our visit at a beautiful old hotel that has history, style and great staff. We were three adults and the hotel upgraded us to a larger room which was excellent! The room, the service, the facilities and location were all excellent! this was the nicest hotel of the 8 we stayed at during our 2 week tour of Europe. The family that owns this hotel has every right to be proud of the staff, the beautiful building and the great facilities. If you find yourself in Heidelberg, treat yourself to a first class family hotel that has been up and running since 1865.

My husband and I stayed at Hotel Europäischer Hof Heidelberg for one night on our way through Heidelberg to see the Christmas markets. It was a fantastic experience, and I recommend this hotel to everyone! The rooms were so cozy and the beds so comfortable, that I honestly wanted to be in the room more than at the Christmas market! The linens were so soft and the personal duvets were delightful. We had a positive experience with every employee, and after encountering downright rude employees in other German hotels (yes, I'm American!), it was refreshing to be somewhere where everyone was extremely pleasant and kind. We got a drink at the bar and breakfast room service, so I feel like we saw many facets of the hotel. It definitely earns its five star rating!

This is a beautiful hotel that envelops you in classic luxury of yesteryear. Decor brings you back in time with total elegance and the staff is truly 5 star. Great shops and restaurants in walking distance and some very good hiking trails across the street that bring you up to the tower with great views.

I reserved a double room, I did not expect 2 twin beds pushed together with a crack in the center. Also, the bed was hard as a rock, pillows with zero neck support and a bathtub with “ jets” that did not work. Breakfast was ALL or nothing, no option for just coffee.

As a hotel with 122 different rooms, we offer a wide variety of sleeping arrangements, and we would have been more than happy to show you an alternative to better suit your needs. We are always working to improve our facilities and services, and your feedback is instrumental in this process.Regarding the hardness of the bed, we recognize that preferences regarding mattress firmness are highly individual. We have recently introduced mattresses from the luxury manufacturer SCHRAMM, and while we aim to cater to a broad range of comfort preferences, we understand that everyone's needs are unique. We would have been pleased to add a soft topper to enhance your comfort or suggest another room that might better match your desired firmness.Similarly, we apologise for the issues with the bathtub jets. My husband, father-in-law and I were extremely impressed with how personable management was with the guests. The management and staff was amazing and went above and beyond to make sure my husband and his dad had a great birthday and that we were taken care of. They checked in with us everyday to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed, made reservations for us, took care of any need we had. We will definitely be going back!

Hotel Europäischer Hof is our favorite place to stay in Heidelberg. The service is exceptional. The hotel is very well maintained. It's in the perfect location with many cafes and restaurants immediately outside the hotel. It's an easy walk to the castle and old bridge.
