«Stayed here for one night for a weekend trip to the mountains. Lovely old property and friendly owners - lots of information on the area and history of the house. Room was comfortable and warm on a very cold night outside. Great views and well located to explore the area. Breakfast was fantastic and great start to the day in the dining room.»

«Very quiet at the end of the road. The cockatoos were loud in the morning and just before they went to bed at night. A simple one kilometer walk to the fish and chip shop in Saint Mary's, that was good food too, especially the scalloped potatoes that are sliced thinly battered and then deep fried like a piece of fish. I love them.»

«The owners were friendly and informative about the winery’s history. Very peaceful and a great place for nature lovers. The full breakfast was substantial and delicious. Would definitely recommend for a break away from the hustle and bustle.»

«Sipha and John are excellent hosts, Katoomba Manor is luxury away from the stress of the city. The total atmosphere is warm and relaxing and the hosts are gracious friendly and very accommodating. The cooked breakfast is delicious and filling. We have no problems recommending a weekend stay here and will return again in the near future. 5 stars.......»

«Rustic Spirit is a magical place to unplug and slip into the tranquility of this property. The privacy of the chalet, the spa and the outlook make this place something special. The daily breakfast that is included was amazing especially the Rosti! The hosts are lovely and we’re a great source of local information and the on-site massage was amazing This place is a must if you looking for a bush-mountain experience without all the hustle and bustle of Katoomba. »

«Staying at Madison’s Mountain Retreat was the perfect getaway and experience for my family. We stayed 3 nights and really enjoyed the atmosphere of the grounds. Anne’s warm welcome and knowledge about the animals was excellent and we all enjoyed feeding the Alpacas, Llamas & Goats. The indoor pool was great for a quick swim & we felt nice and cosy in the rustic cabin accommodation which had a lovely view of the alpacas and farm. We will definitely be back. »
