«The lodge was very clean, well kept, and modern. Had all the facilities you would need for a short stay. Although it was just off a main road, there was plenty private parking just outside the lodge and the road was barely noticeable. The farm shop located across the grounds was lovely, and well worth a browse. The cafe in the farm shop was excellent, best breakfast I’ve had in a long time and reasonably priced. Staff were pleasant, helpful, and professional. »

"Good room with a comfortable bed and a spacious, clean bathroom. The staff were friendly and helpful. The main drawback was the breakfast. With no similar options nearby, it’s not easy to go elsewhere. The quality of the food was somewhat disappointing, the selection lacked vegetables, allergen information was unclear (with very limited milk-free options), and the coffee was quite poor. I also had 3 dinners at the hotel, the fish & chips (which was pretty much the only milk-free option) was enjoyable, and the portion was very generous, leaving me fully satisfied."
