«Staff was present, but not overly friendly. The room was clean but the ceiling light kept flickering, there were minimal electrical outlets and the one that was next to the bed was loose, so the plugs to charge my phone and keep my partner's CPAP machine running kept falling out throughout the night, resulting in a not so great sleep experience. Also, the pillows a well used and probably in need of replacing. The complimentary breakfast was good.»

«No frills room that would have been fine had it not been for the heat. The room got very muggy, and the air condition was extremely loud so sleeping was not possible either way. There was also a big problem with small flies in the bathroom - they seem to get in even with the window closed. They only live a day and would die at night, but the mounds of them around the sink and bath wasn't very appealing.»

«Just spend a few nights at this place. Nice welcome when in checking, property looks nice and Orval clean, unfortunately we didn’t see any service for the nights we are there, not ones they come and clean the room, garbage or changes the towels, in the end we had to ask for towels and take away the garbage and use are own garbage bags. Are room never got clean sweep or floors washed is to bad. For all the time we there we didn’t see any staff working. No»

«Booked a room with king bed and sofa bed for 2 travelers. Sofa bed was not a pull out sofa but a cheap sofa that unfolded and you needed to place the provided mattress topper and sheets on it. The mattress topper did not make the hard board comfortable. Bathroom is dated. Really overpriced for what you get.»

«The host and hostess were very thoughtful, kind and made this a very enjoyable stay, they went out of their way to make us feel at home. The breakfast homemade blueberry pancakes were very delicious. The building is unique and interesting in a wooded area.»

«Great little place. No complaints. Had a nice breakfast with other guests that were staying there graciously provided by the host. Would definitely come back sometime. Expect a charming rustic vibe with comfy, contemporary TV/wifi set up. Breakfast was really great, everything pretty much felt at home, though we only stayed on night. Only weird thing was we had difficulty getting the bedside lamps to turn on.»

«The property is on the Trent Severn waterway in an idyllic peaceful setting. There was a sitting area by the water that was so beautiful and quiet. I highly recommend this Inn to anyone that wants a relaxing vacation on the river. Great restaurants nearby.»
